What machines are you using?
What machines are you all using? I've been using a Mast P20 for powder brows, lips and eyeliner and I'm not loving the results. Pro's are it being lightweight and cordless but I dont feel like its giving me good results. I'm getting really bad vibration on the needles (mast needles) and no pixel effect. I wouldn't trust it for nano hair strokes. I feel like the vibration is causing more trauma than implanting.

@Tracy Parkinson I also use a bishop PMU machine and Vertix pico needles
Elbow/ upper arm pain
I’ve been experiencing some chronic pain in my elbow area for several days (maybe tennis elbow?). Have any of you experienced similar pains due to the overuse of your hand with the repetitive motions of sketching, tattooing, etc? If so, any advice on how to manage the pain and also to minimize it? Have you experienced any other physical pains being a PMU artist?

Massage and acupuncture will be your friend if you are consistent with both you should get great results might even get rid of it.
Not suitable for cover ups.
Hi all, I just wanted to share this healed result I had this week, as an example to highlight why the Hyperrealism technique isn't always suitable for cover up jobs ❌ When a client comes to me needing cover up work, I always advise that a powder brow treatment is best as we can effectively cover completely the undesirable yellows, greys or blue or reds left from old organic pigments. However on this occasion the lady really didn't want powder brows and wanted to proceed with the HR technique even with the understanding that the yellow will still show through the gaps of the strokes. This is the healed result after 3 months. The strokes have healed nicely, they are still crisp and visible but you can see that prominent yellow still showing through. So what to do? At the touch up, we selected a darker shade (warm medium Evo2 Amiea) went over all the strokes again and I performed soft shaded strokes inbetween the larger gaps to try to cover some of the yellow. She was happy with the result, but I just wanted to give you a example of why I generally don't do HR technique for cover ups as personally I don't think it's effective enough. What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments. Kim x

The yellow isn’t too bad, and I think going for a slightly darker pigment at touch up will really make the strokes pop. Gorgeous healed result though
