I'm so tired!
I guess not many of you have had the chance to read this book yet (and admin can delete the post if you feel it's off topic). But when I read it last year this book really got me to reflect on how often we just say "I'm so tired!" not reflecting on what KIND of tiredness it is. The bad sleep, the afternoon dipp, the over-/understimulation, boredom, seasonal and SO many more.. Not reflecting on that different "tired" needs different solutions. So, my question for you is: When do you get tired? And what do you do about it?

I'm an overthinker. I now know for a fact I get more tired thinking of the tasks than actually doing the task. I solve this with quick action. 1,2,3 - Go! This of course doesn't work always. It is not always possible either. But it's getting better. Reducing screen time also helped a lot. As overthinking and doom scrolling go hand in hand. I think social media nowadays is quite good at helping us discover problems that do not actually exist. And for us overthinkers that is an environment I believe we should limit our exposure to.

The perfect Sunday
What is it like? I like Sundays that aren't rigidly structured. I had planned to go to the gym in the morning, slept well, went an hour later, had thought about tidying up the house, but went to visit my mom instead. In the evening, I had planned to have a Zoom meeting with a client, but she didn't show up, so I have time to write here. I like that the weekend flows more calmly, that there are no strict to-do lists like on workdays.

Thank you for your post Anita. For me, the perfect Sunday is where I still structure by having less structure 😅. Less screens, no work and more human interaction with people I care about. Nature is usually mandatory as well. I do get tempted to work with the ''Let me do this one thing quickly'' mentality but it never os the one thing at the end. So knowing myself, I stop myself fully
