Sales Clinic
Just come off of my first sales clinic with Sean - if you haven't attended before, I highly recommend you give it a go! Its great to learn by listening to others, especially people you wouldn't normally work alongside, finding you had more questions than you realised and then being guided to where the training and resources are - definitely worth an hour of your time! This is coming from someone who is confident in role but less so when it comes to networking! I'll definitely be there when the diary allows!

Or is my contact (the CFO) just too busy to respond? I met with an existing client in January'25 who ( at his request) asked me for a proposal for services and I duly provided this. My response was concise and included points of compelling relevance and a clear / specific call to action for next steps. Radio silence since sending the proposal despite my 2 emails along the lines - 1) Did you have any further questions specifically? 2) Me suggesting a date / time for a chat to follow up. In the absence of any response - how might I use different language to provoke a response?

One thing I do is pop a calendar invite over for a 15min check in. Where things are crazy busy for a lot of our clients, I'm getting more response by putting 15 min chat in, whereas I was getting no response emailing. Even better if they have a PA - they accept on my contact's behalf! If that doesn't work - I'll try a max of 3 times before I try to find another way
