Free DBR
Anyone use a free DBR as a loss leader? I have a few customers asking me to show them results, but do not want to pay a dime up front? $500 setup fee maybe? Trying to figure out a way to get them in the door, show them results, then sell them after they see what we do.

You're on the right track thinking about using a free DBR (Database Reactivation) as a loss leader to get clients in the door. It can be a powerful way to show them the value you bring without requiring an upfront commitment. But, to make it work for you and not just give away your time and resources, here are a few steps you might consider: 1. Charge a Nominal Setup Fee: A $500 setup fee is a smart idea. It’s not a huge amount, but it helps cover your initial costs and ensures the client has some skin in the game. This fee can help weed out tire-kickers and show that they’re serious about getting results. 2. Limit the Free Offer Scope: Instead of offering a full-scale DBR campaign, consider limiting the scope to a smaller segment of their database or a shorter time frame. This way, you’re still demonstrating your value, but you’re not giving away too much upfront. 3. Set Clear Expectations: Make sure the client understands the potential ROI and what success looks like. Have a solid agreement in place that outlines the results they can expect and the timeframe for seeing those results. 4. Leverage Results for Upselling: Once you’ve shown them a quick win or generated some results, use that momentum to upsell them into a paid package. Show them the numbers and outline what more you can achieve with a full-scale campaign. 5. Create a Limited-Time Offer: Adding a sense of urgency, like a limited-time discount or bonus for signing up within a specific period after the free trial, can motivate them to move forward with a paid package.
Importance of online presence
In today's digital age, having a strong online presence is crucial for both individuals and businesses. It's your digital storefront, a platform to connect with a wider audience and establish yourself as a credible entity. Here's a breakdown of its importance: Increased Visibility and Reach: An online presence allows you to be found by a wider audience, transcending geographical limitations. Builds Trust and Credibility: A well-maintained online presence with positive reviews and engagement fosters trust and credibility. Enhances Communication and Engagement: Online platforms facilitate communication and engagement with your target audience, allowing you to build stronger relationships. Provides a Platform for Self-Expression: Whether it's a personal brand or a business, an online presence allows you to showcase your expertise, interests, or products.

Having a strong online presence is non-negotiable in today’s digital age. It’s like your digital storefront, and without it, you’re missing out on endless opportunities to connect, build trust, and grow. Visibility and reach are everything, and being online lets you tap into a global audience, no matter where you are. And let’s not forget how critical it is for building credibility—positive reviews, engaging content, and a professional image all come together to make people trust and want to do business with you. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to communicate directly with your audience, build relationships, and express who you are or what your business stands for. In a world where people are constantly searching online before making decisions, your online presence is your best tool for standing out and making a real impact.
