☎️ Why I don't do sales calls (and what I do instead) ...
I used to do the sales call thing. Book a Zoom. Follow the script. Try to close the deal. It’s what a lot of mentors recommend. But every time I got off one of those calls, I felt drained. Even when someone said yes, it didn’t feel like a win. Most of the time, they weren’t actually ready. They’d ghost, skip workouts, or push back on the plan. The whole process felt forced. So I changed how I did things. Now, I use a simple offer doc that does the explaining for me. It outlines what the program is, who it’s for, what to expect, and the options available. By the time someone gets on a call with me, they’ve already seen everything they need to know.... and they’re coming in with clarity and intent. All that’s left is a quick chat to see if we’re the right fit. Since making this shift, I’ve closed way more aligned clients, saved hours of time, and actually enjoy the process again. It builds trust, filters the right people in, and makes the whole process smoother for everyone. If you want to check out the offer doc I use, just reply comment “offer” and I’ll send it over.
