HuRU Crew - Message of Gratitude!
“The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best.” ~ Wallace D. Wattles Thanksgiving is usually about turkey, pie, and being thankful for the usual stuff... But the HuRU Crew isn’t exactly a “usual stuff” kind of group. 😉 So today, instead of the standard gratitude post, we’re taking a page from Wallace D. Wattles — minus the 1910 vibes — and giving gratitude a modern twist. Wattles talks about gratitude as more than a nice feeling. It's a power source. A mindset upgrade. A way of tuning your brain toward the opportunities, possibilities, and magic that are already trying to reach you. In everyday language? Gratitude is how you stay aligned with the best version of yourself — and the best things life keeps sending your way. And when we look around at our world, our journey, and this community... YOU are what we’re grateful for the most. Whether you’ve been with us since the early days or literally just walked in... Whether you’re loud and active or quietly soaking up every nugget... Whether you’re in full momentum or starting from scratch... You bring something unique to the HuRU Crew, and we feel it. Every. Single. Day. So on this Thanksgiving, @Shannon Koss and I want you to know: ✨ We’re grateful for your energy. ✨ We’re grateful for your courage. ✨ We’re grateful for your curiosity, your growth, your stories, your breakthroughs, and your fresh starts. ✨ And yes… we’re grateful for your sense of humor, too. (You know who you are. 😂) This community isn’t just a group — it’s a vibe. A movement. A support system. A place where people stretch, learn, breathe, try again, rise again, and go after the best in themselves. And we are so honored you choose to be part of it. So from our hearts (and our holiday plates) to yours: Happy Thanksgiving, to our U.S. HuRU Crew. And to our HuRU Crew from around the world... we celebrate our gratitude for you this holiday as well. We love you, we appreciate you, and we’re wildly grateful for every single one of you.🧡✨

Tammy (Littlejohn) Epps! 🔥🔥 Was there ever a doubt? The Queen of Consistency. The Community Cheerleader. The woman who shows up, lifts others up, and keeps the heartbeat strong in every space she steps into. @Tammy Littlejohn isn’t just a longtime member of HuRU — she’s also a valued member and admin over in RECREATE. She has been with us since the early days, believing in the mission before it was ever fully formed. And honestly... @Shannon Koss and I simply LOVE having her in this community and in our lives. ❤️ For those who aren't familiar yet, here’s a glimpse into what makes Tammy so special: ✨ She’s passionate about helping people navigate transitions and find clarity. ✨ She pours her heart into guiding others toward purpose, balance, and emotional freedom. ✨ And through her business, she helps people reconnect with who they truly are so they can live with intention, confidence, and joy. Tammy embodies everything HuRU stands for: resilience, heart, courage, leadership, and a commitment to continuous growth Let’s give it up for Tammy in the comments below! 🙌 Drop her some love, some fire, some encouragement... whatever you’ve got. Level 8 looks good on you, Tammy. Keep shining. 🌟

Reinventing Work: How Are You Creating Your Next Income Stream?
The world of work is changing fast — faster than most companies can keep up with. Corporate America is shifting, restructuring, downsizing, rethinking roles... and honestly, it’s not just here in the U.S. You can feel the ripple globally. The workplace as we once knew it, is evolving right under our feet. So it’s no surprise that more and more people are looking for something beyond their 9–5. I’ll be honest — “side hustle” isn’t my favorite term, but I get why it’s become the go-to. or many, it’s not a hobby…it’s: 🔸a pressure valve, 🔹a contingency plan, 🔸an escape mechanism, 🔹or even the lifeline that might save your future self. So let’s talk about it. 👉 What are YOU exploring right now? Are you: 🔸Leaning into building an online coaching or consulting brand? 🔹Thinking about monetizing a community? 🔸Is network marketing or MLM your lane? 🔹Diving into affiliate marketing? 🔸Or maybe you’re looking at how to ride this massive wave of AI-driven opportunities? Whatever you call it — side hustle, Plan B, your reinvention strategy — I want to hear it. 💬 What are your thoughts, ideas, or even hesitations about creating income outside your main gig? While working to build my community and monitize training for travel photography, I suppliment it with selling fine art prints in a couple of online stores. One is a premium gallery to anchor the value in my pricing that offers the most options of print mediums and sizes and an Etsy store to offer the same images limited to popular standard sizes of the 4 most popular mediums so that I can have a more value oriented price point as well. Just put in my Black Friday Sale. Also doing some real estate photography on the side. I don't really want it to be my primary because it's about as creatively fufilling as cotton candy is actual food. It's an okay here and there thing for a little extra money.
Skool IRL is growing... and I’d love your input.
I’ve received quite a few questions about in-person events, so here’s a little update: I’ve been asked to support Skool IRL Events as a Mayor for both Phoenix and Los Angeles — one of the perks of being a dual-state resident. After working with Goose and his team last month in LA, Phoenix, and San Diego, the momentum and energy were unreal. Meeting so many of you face-to-face reminded me how powerful this community is. And here’s the part I’m especially excited about... I get to serve as Co-Mayor in Phoenix (and Arizona at large) alongside @Dr. Stephen Buscema — someone I admire and genuinely enjoy collaborating with. This is going to be fun. Now I want to hear from you: 👉 What type of Skool IRL events would you love to see? Workshops? Social mixers? Community service? Deep-dive masterminds? Something totally outside the box? Drop your thoughts below — let’s build this with the idea of Skool Community at the core.

Big Plans for a Saturday Night!!
Last night I started feeling a bit under the weather... sore throat and chills. This morning I woke up pretty much the same, but found a way to muster up enough energy to pour some love and value into the Success Saturday call. And that pretty much wiped me out. So here is what my Saturday night is looking like... some tea and a cozy blanket! (also perfect since it's a rainy weekend here in Los Angeles) Please somebody weigh in and tell me that YOUR Saturday night is more exciting than mine! 😁

I wouldn't say it was more exciting. Was going to go out but ended up staying in, decided to make some spaghetti and then last minute decided to change up the sauce from an italian tomato based sauce to an Asian sesame sauce instead. Just to try something different. It was okay, not horrible, probably won't do that one again. haha. I've swapped out the italian pasta sauce previously for sweet and sour sauce and found that to be a good switch up once in a while. In fact, the only reason I had the bottle of the sesame sauce was because I ordered groceries online and they sent that instead of a bottle of Sweet and Sour sauce.

@Brennan Thompson Yeah, never know. One I was convinced was going to be terrible was the time I made Bread & Butter Pickle ice cream. It ended up being really good and I've made it several times since. All because during the pandemic I couldn't find any frozen or fresh fruit at the store and had some cream to use up.
