DAY 2: Research eBay — Find 10 Sold Paintings
Task:Go to eBay. Search "original acrylic painting" or "original canvas art." Filter by SOLD listings (left sidebar). Find 10 paintings that sold and screenshot them. Post the screenshots in the Day 2 thread and share: - What subjects sold (animals, landscapes, flowers, abstracts, portraits) - What sizes sold - What price range you're seeing ($50? $150? $200?) - What style catches your eye that you'd want to try Bonus: Find one painting that sold for over $100 and break down why you think it sold. Why:This is real. People are buying art on eBay every single day. You need to see the proof with your own eyes before you believe it. This research shows you exactly what buyers want. Proof Format: "DAY 2: Here are 10 paintings that sold on eBay. [Screenshots]Subjects I saw: [list]Price range: $[X] - $[X]Style I want to try: [style]One that sold for $100+: [screenshot] — I think it sold because [reason]." - Example

This was an interesting assignment. Here are some screenshots of the sold paintings I found interesting for various reasons. Price range was all over the place ($.99 to $1200) as was subject matter, although they tend to fall in to the categories of flowers, animals, landscapes, popart, nature. The sizes of the paintings also varied greatly. The last one of the woman with the flowers in her hair sold for $325. I'm guessing it sold because it's bright and colorful, has a captivating expression and maybe fit into the buyer's esthetic in some way. She looks Polynesian so this kind of art would be popular here in Hawaii. I really like abstract painting and intuitive painting styles and would like to develop that style. I’m also seeing a lot of acrylic pour paintings selling well so I’ll want to do some of those too since I’m pretty fast at those. They take quite a while to dry though. My takeaways from this exercise are that people's tastes are not necessarily my own and you just don't know what's going to sell until you try it. Some themes are probably always going to do well though. I look forward to learning more from Corbellic about all this.
K-POP RUMI
Visiting my granddaughter and she wanted me to paint RUMI from KPop. We also watched the movie KPop The Demon Hunters. I used some of her paints and she had a 18X20 canvas she never used. I had so much fun creating this. It’s coming along just need to add some details. I will post the final when I’m done. Happy Painting everyone.

Love your color palette. Beautiful work!
Mixed media paper
How do we deal With our mixed media paper warping so bad you can’t get a good photo? Ironing? That would take time….

Heavy books work for me. But yeah, you gotta wait for the paint to thoroughly dry. I like Michelle’s suggestion of using parchment paper on top.
I now have a store!
Hi all. I am stoked. Took the rest of yesterday evening to prep up my store for it to be ready for listings later on today; so excited! As Mario says; “Here we go!”. https://ebay.us/m/x5quXV

Abstract Flowers
Well my day didn't go to plan but all good. I havent manage my 5 today yet but here's 3 I have finished. Its the first time Iv painted like this (Autumn bloom in a pumpkin) and I really enjoyed it. I did the challenge of 15 minutes but completed the pink tulips in 40. The daffodils are my fave though I dont make it easy on myself...need to pick easier reference 🤪🤪 Im really LOVING painting variety which I would of never done previous to watching Cor.

Returning to art after years away. Just enjoying the process of learning from others as I develop my own style in watercolors, acrylic pouring, etc.
