You monetizing YouTube?🤔 I’m curious how many people here are actually using YouTube as a real growth channel and monetizing it, because the platform has quietly become one of the most powerful ways to grow my SKOOL community. I’m definitely not a YouTube expert, but the last few months taught me a ton about what works and what absolutely doesn’t with the new algorithm. Here’s what is working for me: ✅Posting 5 shorts + 1 long-form video every week, all scheduled at the exact same day and time, just like the TV shows we grew up watching. ✅Youtube rewards consistency, timing signals, and session based content, so treating your channel like a weekly show creates trust, momentum, and predictable viewer habits. ✅I also stopped holding back value and started giving away the exact strategies I use because the more people learn from you for free, the more they want to go deeper inside your community. Here’s what I've learned what not to do: ❌Don’t post sporadically, don’t overthink topics, and don’t try to make every video go viral; instead, focus on retention, clarity, and solving one specific problem per video. ❌Don’t chase random trending topics that have nothing to do with your niche. It might get views, but it destroys your channel’s identity and confuses the algorithm about who to send your videos to. ❌Don’t optimize for clicks instead of retention. A strong hook with weak content tanks your watch time, and YouTube will bury your videos.... Retention is the #1 signal the algorithm protects! The biggest shift for me was realizing that YouTube isn’t just a content platform it’s a discovery engine that can monetize itself, generate warm traffic, and grow your SKOOL community simultaneously. Since committing to this strategy, my channel has grown faster, and my income streams expanded. If you’re not on YouTube yet, this might be the simplest way to add a powerful revenue and visibility layer to your business. Who here is actively posting or monetizing on YouTube right now??
