Somebody made a public group called "Chat GPT Users". A member of the group created a post with the title "Prompt Generator". Google ranked the post #2 for the keyword: "Chat GPT prompt generator". That single post is generating thousands of unique visitors to the group. Pretty cool.

Skool has blown my mind. I have had Facebook Groups for my programs since 2017 and they don't even compare. And I only started with Skool about 75 days ago (February 27th 2023). My group already has (3) Level 8 people and it's become the #1 group in my niche absolutely. I almost didn't join Skool. The reason? "I already have everything setup and don't feel like changing it." What changed my mind? The SIMPLICITY and RESULTS I kept seeing from Skool success stories. So... I tried it out and an extra $50,000 a month in results and making my life more simple has been the result. Pretty solid I think. Glad I went for it rather than listen to my ego. @Nick Hauser asked me to share the things that have been successful in creating such a Skool group (here is the link to my Skool if you want to look to see how I'm doing it: https://manifestwithscott.com/group). β‘οΈ How I'm Using Skool: I have a free "Manifestation / Personal Development" Skool group (1,600 people in it right now) and convert the members into my paid "Manifestation Mentoring Program" Skool group. My Strategy: Have everyone become engaging friends sharing what they learn from our content. And if they want more, enroll into our programs. I have been trying to keep it super simple. Here are a few elements of the Strategy: (a) The type of posts I do that have been SUPER successful are NOT me posting value. But rather posts where members engage with each other. Examples: "What are your unique talents / skills?" "What time zone are you in? Accountability buddy?" These have been super engaging because members learn about each other. I text / email my list about these posts, so they get more than 1 notification of the post. That has been helpful in creating a lot of engagement. (b) And I partner these with action-based content. Examples of those: "3 Day Money Challenge! Are you in?" "Watch this video of 'The Law of Attraction Explained' every day for 30 days straight"

Now you can use rich text editing to create course modules any way you like! Click here to see an example. (fastest way to understand the new feature). Now you can use the following: 1. Inline images 2. Headings 3. Bold, italics, strikethrough 4. Inline code and code blocks 5. Bulleted and numbered lists 6. Quote blocks 7. Links 8. Dividers 9. Description visibility Check out the example here, try it for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments. Enjoy π

Going all in like you are @Sam Ovens Love the concept, product, and simplicity! Sold an ecom business I had. Stopped individually selling my courses. Next 8 months is Skool, content, and cash!
Skool's official iOS App is live. Download it here on the iOS App Store, by scanning this QR code, or searching for "Skool Communities". It has push notifications, links open in the app, + more. Our Android app should be live in the next 30 days.

Hey guys! Love to be hereπ I have a Qs on how YOU use SKOOL in your biz - I am currently using Kajabi (ALL-IN-ONE: landing pages, email list, CRM, payment, courses etc), I am thinking of potentially switching to SKOOL but don't know other softwares to enable the marketing + CRM part, how does your software 'landscape' look like at the moment with SKOOL?? π§

I have several courses in my program. Is there a feature when I can give specific people access to specific courses?

Yes....so you set that course to "some users have access" then go into each member you want to have that course....and click the gear icon...courses....and grant them access
Is this a possibility without zoom, vimeo or youtube?

You have to capture them before they click "join group" and sign up. You dont get the email info when they create an account....only when they join your group and only if you have membership join questions
This q should probably go in the skool affiliate group but its kinda dead over there. I have a full bridge page website built out for my affiliate stuff which I run my google and facebook ads to. Currentely it goes to the main /refer page but when they click the button from my site....they already have the full overview of what Skool is and I want them to go to the /signup where they go ahead and input their CC. I cant just put skool.com/signup as that's not tied to my affilliate link.....how have some of you done this? @Sid Sahasrabuddhe

They do not get points.....as that would just entice people to not be helpful / answer questions / create content in the group....you would just have people spam botting your group to eveyone for the simple reason of points. Same reason points cant be given inside of DM's
I want to sell a course and want to show visitor my videos they get access to.

You can show it on the about page of your group.....or once they join....have the first pinned post be your video....or create the course in your classroom and have the first video there.....few ways to do it
Imagine making a calendar event only accessible to members at level 6. Is this something you want?

Hello, I have uploaded some videos to my community course on Skool, and these videos are uploaded from YouTube. I wanted to know if there is a way to prevent people from accessing the video on YouTube, because when you click on the video, it takes you directly to the YouTube channel, and this way people will be able to watch the videos outside of the community.

Could set it as "unlisted"...that way people who are on your channel do not see the video.
We think "Courses" is more intuitive. What do you think?

IM PUTTING THIS OUT AS AN ACCOUNTABILITY POST! MARK MY WORDS ON THIS.. We will make $500K/mo in the next 3-6 months or less with Skool ONLY.. At the moment we're doing $600K-$700K/mo with AppointmentSetterCom using IG/FB only but it's a total mess.. Everything is scattered among different platforms with our marketing strategies. Me and my lady who is also my business partner in this company are going to do 2 cool things over the next 7-14 days. We're going to build two low ticket courses, one for our B2C and one for our B2B. Here are my goals that I KNOW we will achieve in the next 3-6 months or less. 1. Make $500K/mo with our low ticket offer strategy for our B2C & B2B ON SKOOL ONLY.. 2. Make $10K/mo as a Skool Affiliate as we move fully onto the platform for marketing now too I'm already invested multi 6 figures into Skool and my next step is to also now truly use it as marketing platform for our companies because it fits so perfectly into what we're already doing. In the past we've already achieved these figures but then we used a Facebook Group where our DMs would go to spam, the course was on another platform and it was all scattered.. Now on Skool you'd land in primary, your emails land in primary, you can DM people WHILE they watch the course.. So we're now going to be building our LTOs and launch in the next 1-2 weeks. I'm grateful to be a part of this community and I'll be breaking down A to Z how we'll have achieved this goal once we've hit it in this community and using Skool ONLY. For now, this is just a post to hold myself accountable and use it as a future case study too for people who are on the fence of using Skool. Let's GO!

Been real cool watching how big you have grown all these years! πͺ
I've seen @Andrew Kirby, @Brian Moncada, and many others build great communities FAST. It seems like a superior "lead nurture" model as opposed to email marketing or other social channels. I've been thinking about starting a community myself and am curious about those that have, how long did it take to "get off the ground?"

I got 53 members the first 7 days. Free worked really well for me. From them, I will get testimonials and case studies to use for the paid ads and funnels

@Ryan Mathews 3 posts in fb groups that already had my niche.
Please can we have the ability to duplicate courses, sets, and modules. Would make life so much easier for creating my downsell courses. Please like or comment if you like the idea.

Want a simple landing page that explains what your group is about and why people should join? Now you have one! See an example here. You can promote your group by adding videos, images, and a description. You can specify if your group is free or paid. (less confusion when non-customers request access thinking it's free). For private groups: Non-members will see this page when they visit any of your group's links. For public groups: Non-members will see this page on the "About" tab. Once somebody is a member of a group, they'll see this page under the "About" tab. If you're an admin of a group, go to the "About" tab to customize your landing page. Try it for yourself and let us know what you think? π

How do I see the email addresses of members? I was thinking a few months ago it was on their profile page but I don't see them now.

most of message box on skool, such as direct message or even create a post does not allow image paste. for screenshot we will have to save the image then attach which is time consuming. I wish you can add this feature

Whats the benefit of pasting over attaching? Either way they get the image. You just prever CTRL V?
Hey Fam, What do you find best to host your site? My business is coaching, training & community for business owners everywhere. We run events in person, online and also have courses based on Skool. In the past I have only used Teachable to make a landing page and ver had a 'real' website. TIA!

I only use GHL because it is free for me based on black friday deal I bought in past. But it is really just for my bridge page to affilliate stuff. If I want people to join my skool...the "about" section is a perfect landing page for a basic join end goal. I wouldn't over think it. www.skool.com/automatedincome is my about page and I use all 2000 characters to explain it. Works great

I know @Sid Sahasrabuddhe has noted it but don't see it coming up in next installments
Hey guys! Curious if I'm getting the idea right! I have my high ticket coaching program hosted on Skool. I'm thinking of adding a lower ticket product now and creating an entry-level Skool group for that ($1,000 product), should I also create a third "free" Skool group that drives people to the $1k product? What are your thoughts on that guys? Thanks

You would need 3 based on that setup....but if you didnt want to pay $300/m for skool groups, you could just do 2.....a free group to capture everyone...then a paid one. The paid one can be for both lower ticket and high ticket...and you just segment who gets which product. Selecting :only some members have access when asked who can access the course
What are y'all's thoughts on creating separate Skool groups for free and paid communities vs combining them together? Here are the pros and cons I've thought of so far: Combining groups: Pros - Simple. One group to manage. - Bigger searchable library of content. - Get more people to show up to collab calls. - Non-paid members get to see wins of members. Cons - Feels less exclusive for paid members. - Collab Calls may get crowded. - Discussion may get confusing for paid vs non-paid. Seperate groups: Pros - More exclusive experience for paid members. - More focused discussion. Cons - More complicated. One more group to manage. - Starting off, Collab Calls may have low attendance. - Less benefit of non-paid members seeing paid member success. - Knowledgebase split into two. - Have to host 2 Collab Calls Curious if anyone else is having this debate or has experience experimenting with either setup. Lmk in comments π€

I lock courses yes. And then once they pay I release. I answer free ppls questions yesβ¦.to a degree. Lol. The calendar I have weekly callsβ¦first week is free for all, then weeks 2/3/4 itβs paid members and those zoom calls have a password access that only the paid members know. Thatβs how I set it up

Wondering if anyone here has successfully done this. If so, what was your process from a high level? Any lessons learned? @Ted Carr

Yes....the way you do it is lock all courses to "some users have access" then everyone already inside needs to be added to those because they have already been free so they need access.....then anyone you add to group afterward has to pay to get access to those. Thats how you convert it.
We just shipped these features: 1. Course progress βΒ see what % of your courses members have completed. (image #1). 2. Churned tab βΒ see members who left your group and when. (image #2). 3. Membership settings modal βΒ access all member info easily from the members list, profile, or profile preview. Membership questions, course progress, etc. live here now. (image #3). Check them out and let us know what you think? Enjoy π

Love the fast delivery on all of these...ty
Is it possible to have courses unlock once a certain number of gems are obtained/awarded? The reason (and difference) for this is to be able to more manually control the gamification process and to open it up to creativity outside of only the points earned from creating valuable posts model. This would allow me as a coach to incentivize and award prizes based on my students doing something tangible that I teach them in a course and then have them write a post once they do it and then award a gem for it. For example, I coach government contracting. I want to incentivize my students to post a bid summary post every time they respond to a bid. This will be great hype for our group. Every time they submit a bid and post a "bid summary post", I want to award them with one gem. At 1 gem, I want to award them a t shirt. At 5 gems a coffee mug, at 10 gems a coaching call, etc. In a nutshell, I want to use gamification not for necessarily incentivizing value posts, but for incentivizing work done in a course. It seems like having the option to have gems unlock a course, that for example can house a typeform link to send over their t-shirt size or a Calendly link to schedule their 1-on-1 call, would open up so many creative methods to gamify your course and make the process of learning and implementing even more real and engaging for the students. Apologies if I've already missed the boat on this...

I would be suprised if anyone is using it for that. Only scenerio is a course creator who shows pple how to create ecom/physical brands. But not the brands itself
