University - The Positive Aspects
Is anyone now considering the university route seriously? While we are all so driven behind the apprenticeship movement, the government's news has made many aspiring apprentices, including myself, uneasy about pursuing the apprenticeship route. I also don't want to be too harsh on the university route, if I end up going down that. It can be a bad thing to have a negative mindset around university, and if I do have to choose that, I won't be happy. Hence, I want to hear people's thoughts on university and its potential benefits. Does anyone have anything to share on this?

It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot recently and I totally resonate with the debt point, it’s something I would like to avoid but I don’t want it to completely rule out University as an option so I’ll most likely be applying to both universities and apprenticeships in the future and go with what I feel I will benefit from most during that point in my life

Hey guys, I’m Renée! I’m a year 12 studying psychology, maths and biology 😵‍💫🙏 In terms of apprenticeships I’m still trying to discover which field would be best for me (I have an idea but I’m not certain). I’ll be working in the intel team, nice to meet you all :)

Personally, ever since I heard about apprenticeships I knew I wanted to pursue one in psychology but when I did my research I noticed there is a very prominent lack of them, I’m wondering why?

@Ronald Sarpong Makes sense, it would be great if all the steps required after receiving your degree was also equipped with a degree apprenticeship in psychology. It’s an incredibly popular field and some people would prefer apprenticeships due to the hands on experience and many other benefits, but I get what you’re saying.
