I need ffmpeg, yt-dlp and pandoc. Is it possible with the vps installation to update your N8N installation? Mine is now running without. I use a local installtion wit ffmpeg ect.

We’re in wholesale, but just a small team of 5–6 people. Our challenge is finding employees. We’re also working on phone agents for inbound calls and chat agents for our website, as well as ways to enrich data without expensive tools like Firecrawl. Another focus is email security — checking incoming emails against a list of about 2,000 partner domains, highlighting unknown senders, and filtering for spam or malware. We don’t use Gmail but regular IMAP accounts (mostly via Thunderbird), and I’d love to integrate AI features there — like suggested replies or auto-drafts for review before sending. We also have recurring tasks that are done on request — like sending standard letters to customers. They’re almost always the same, but have to be created from scratch each time.

@Ralph Kleinschmidt I currently back up my workflows using n8n to Google Drive. After checking the n8n API, I realized that it’s not possible to restore (write back) the workflows to their original directories. I haven’t watched the video yet, but I’m curious — how did you solve this?

@Cono Pascucci I built a sunoapi workflow to generate my very personal music with google sheets and drive for song upload and cover image. Nearly perfect but only for personal use. With Telegram I created an emojitranslater. Dictate or write and translate my input in Emojis. Now I am faster than newphew and nice… With Telegram I made some other workflows, nutrition trainer, recipes, and for business, asking help for some business tasks with knowledge from google sheets .
