The Slingshot Phenomenon
I’m a member of a community of entrepreneurs who set and plan regular goals (annual + quarter, broken down into milestones and tasks) called the Goal Getters Collab. During yesterday’s monthly goal planning session, a fellow member was sharing about how her creativity has slowed down because she’s had to focus on the backend side of her business—systems and tech. I could tell she was really frustrated and that the creator in her felt stifled. This is what I shared with her: When you pull back on a slingshot, the further you pull, the more tension you feel, the more you slow down because of it. And if you’re being intentional and calculated with your aim (which, she absolutely is), once you let go of the slingshot, you’re gonna fly toward your goals FAST. We are cyclical beings. It’s literally winter time. A time synonymous for hibernation, slowing down and reflecting. If this is the season you’re in, I encourage you to embrace it, not resist it. Rest with intention, and be calculated about what direction you’re pointing you slingshot. And when summer comes, get ready to fly. What season is your business in right now?

Week of 11/16/25 to 11/22/25
Happy Monday, entrepreneurs! This is a big week in the Palmer household. Well, only mom and dad know that it's a big week for now. This Friday, we're surprising the kiddos with a trip to Disneyland on Friday. I've been planning this since March and I can't believe it's finally here. Eeeeek! As I transition into the final stage of prep (laundry, packing, hyperventilating, etc.), my intention for the week is: 📋 "LINE BY LINE" The only way I've been able to survive is by utilizing my Notion project planner (Link to buy. It's on sale!) As I go about my day juggling my businesses, house chores, and nervous system, I want to simplify things by reminding myself that everything will get done when I go line by line. Your turn!! Let us know what you're focusing on this week and how we can support you! ⇩⇩⇩

👩🏻‍💻⚡️ Anti-hustle tech stack
As a multi-passionate mom-preneur of three keiki (kids), my anti-hustle systems are centered around my tech stack. These are the daily apps and programs I log into to make sure I get sh*t done with a regulated nervous system: [ ] Slack: **business only** communication -- I do my very best to keep business conversations out of my texts [ ] Notion: literally my second brain [ ] BrainTap: meditation and light therapy [ ] ChatGPT + Claude: my creative idea co-pilot What about you guys? What programs + platforms keep you sane?

I know what you mean. Notion is pretty hefty. For a while I was using it like a glorified Google Doc, but then I started playing around with the templates that were available (both free and paid), and I started to get the hang of it after tinkering. I definitely don’t use it to its full capacity. I also found templates that people sell on Etsy. All with the free version, too. I feel you on Google Workspace. I set up a whole Google Drive folders with Google Docs, spreadsheets and files for my real estate clients to access as soon as our representation contract is signed. And there’s nothing like a beautifully labeled and organized inbox 🥰 I’ll have to look into ZOHO. I’ve never heard of it!

🤖 AI Advantage Bonus Videos and Takeaways
On today's live I streamed two short lessons on scaling your business, and the message was clear: 1. Fall in love with your ideal client, not your product Know what they want, what they need, what slows them down, and what would feel like a dream solution to them. 2. Make your offer irresistible Remove friction. Make it easy for them to say, “Take my money!!” 3. Over-deliver Or in my words: surprise and delight your people. Small touches create lasting loyalty. As you watch the replay, reflect on this: ✨What’s one simple way you can reduce friction and add more value to your clients this week?✨ Replay is below ↓ Enjoy!
