Hearth in Traverse City
Sat on the bench at Hearth in TC a couple days ago! Good heat, cool people, and was my first time using one a them fancy-schmancy cold plunges. There’s another sauna right on the bay that I want to check out next time I’m there, too.

The Ancient Irish Roots of the Sauna Movement?
“The book reveals how this "new sauna trend" is rooted in 3000 year old Irish heritage…” How come I’m the only one who gets in trouble when I bring things like this ☝️up? 😂

@John Pederson I’d recommend any book that looks at sweat bathing through a different lens! I’m only about 50 pages in, but it’s really interesting, and the photography is gorgeous.

Trash talk aside, I will say that I was in Minneapolis a couple months ago and sat on the bench at 612 Co-op and The Yard, and you all have done an absolutely amazing job building so much community around sauna! Came away really inspired, hoping to bring some of that energy back here.
