Synthesizing over 6,000 tweets down to these 41 key ideas
Hey all, I'm new here. I came across Andrew Kirby's "downloadable brain" of Alex Hormozi and Naval Ravikant. A couple months ago I did something similar, where I scraped tweets and sifted through them manually to synthesize them into common ideas inside Obsidian. I set out with the question, "What do all 'successful' people talk about that's common?" There were at least 41 ideas that I found valuable. It's obviously a never-ending process, but I found some things that I wasn't expecting. Others I've heard before and serve as reminders to me. I thought I'd share it here in case it provides you some value. It's all free and open-source right now if you want to download it and mess around with it. Let me know what you think! https://petermeglis.com/twitter-brain I'll also list the 41 ideas below, but personally, I think the real value is in seeing how different people all talked about the same idea, which you can only see inside Obsidian through backlinks and the graph view. - Make the process the reward - Focus on upside rather than downside - Money only solves money problems - Crypto will be the money of the future - You’re going to die so it doesn’t matter - Solve your own problems - Do what feels like play to you - Don’t think about what others think of you - Think longterm - Work in public - Success comes from consistency - Do more of what works and less of what doesn’t - When making decisions, just pick something, then adjust - Value where you spend your attention - Always speak the truth - Admit that you know nothing - Figure yourself out - You can choose your mindset - Changing your mind is a strength - The people you surround yourself with are important - Be your authentic self - Think for yourself - Think about where you want to be in 10 years - Use time as an asset - Think about what your future self would do - Be patient with results - Create systems - Plan your habits around your down days - To change your life, change your mindset - You control how you respond to circumstances - Avoid negative relationships - Surround yourself with positive relationships - Get comfortable being uncomfortable - Create a bias towards action - Give before you take - Give and expect nothing in return - Do the boring work - Learn by teaching - You need something to aim at - Aim at something noble
