Do you recommend taking non-sodium electrolyte supplements 3 days out, 2 days out, 1 day out - when your sodium intake is decreased? Or are electrolyte supplements more for rehydrating post weigh-in?
How much sodium should a wrestler have on their baseline days and how would that vary by weight? i.e. How much should a 140 lb, 160 lb, 180 lb or 200 lb wrestler have?
If you're salting to taste then how would you determine your baseline sodium intake? Without knowing your baseline how would you know how much a 30% increase or a 50% decrease from baseline would be? Thanks!
