The Spiral Path ~ Reawakening the Ancestral Heart Through the Medicine of Plants"
I'm loving to share more of my Spiral Path, awakening and return to my most profound teachers - the Plants, this has been the core of my earth walk, probably in many timelines, let us hear them speak The Rose of Return It always begins with Rose. She has never been just a flower in my world. She is breath and blood, thorn and thread, the very root of the remembrance. Her petals have lined the edges of my dreams since I was a child, whispering truths I couldn’t yet name. The scent of her bloom lingers long after summer has passed, like a memory that won't be forgotten, even in the coldest season., especially when ever I open my chest of dried herbs, hers is the scent I reach for first. Rose is the mother of all thresholds. She walks beside us as we remember how to live gently, but fiercely. It was with her that I first understood the language of plants isn’t spoken, it is felt. It's known deep in the body, like pulse or hunger. And in my moments of deepest heartbreak, or greatest clarity, it is Rose who always returns. Or perhaps, she never leaves. Nettle’s Edge & the First Step The first sting of connection came on the very first day of my apprenticeship with Rachel Corby. I stepped out of my van, barefoot, cup of rose tea warming my hands. I was grounded, expectant, reverent, and then I stepped right into her. Nettle. Wild. Upright. Unapologetic. The sting was electric. Not just physical, but cellular. I knew instantly this was no accident. Later that very day, as we began our teachings, Rachel revealed: "Today’s plant ally is Nettle." I smiled. My initiation had already begun. Nettle is a fierce initiator. She teaches through the skin, through discomfort, through challenge. And she gives back a thousandfold what she demands; strength, mineral-rich resilience, deep rootedness. She teaches that to thrive is not to avoid pain, but to integrate its message. She became my constant companion ~ tea, tincture, bath, infusion. Each cup of nettle was a homecoming to my bones.

@Louise Size I love how the land expands my way of being the bridge between the plants and our world, they have such stories to awaken in us all

@Louise Size oh I know we have a lot of this to gentle do too, we have just arrived on the land here and this morning took our first walk in very wet conditions, all good fun, and to see how we can be of support is an adventure

Going Nomad
I'm here every day at the moment, just not offering anything productive while we pack up and sell off our 'stuff'. So looking forward to getting back on the road. Spending Christmas with one of the kids and grand kids, then we are free again.

What is Mitocondria
When you get into the conversations of wellness, the topic of Mitocondria comes up often. What is it - in the scheme of things? Ask Google: Mitochondria are organelles within eukaryotic cells, often called the "powerhouses of the cell," that generate most of the cell's energy. They convert chemical energy from food into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the primary energy currency cells use to fuel their functions. Mitochondria are found in the cytoplasm, contain their own DNA, and are crucial for cellular processes like growth and death. Bringing out the dictionary: organelles - are specialized structures within a cell that perform specific functions, much like organs in the human body. These "little organs" are suspended in the cytoplasm and are essential for the cell's survival, carrying out vital tasks like energy production, protein synthesis, and storage. Examples include the nucleus, which holds genetic information, and the mitochondria, which generate energy. adenosine triphosphate (ATP) - is the main energy-carrying molecule in all living cells, often called the "energy currency" because it provides the energy needed for most cellular processes. cytoplasm - is the gelatinous liquid that fills the inside of a cell. It is composed of water, salts, and various organic molecules. IN SUMMARY: The body is powered like a salt battery (look it up) and the mitochondria is where the 'batteries' are created, charged up and released. Without enough 'water and salt' in the body, these batteries run down. An adequate amount of ATP molecules are required, at all times, to activate all the organs and systems in the body. A reduced availability of ATP causes organs to fail. Substances like resveratrol and certain venom peptides (look closer at vaccines and certain virus treatments) block APT while pain killers like Aspirin slow ATP production down... I hope you are starting to think about the lies you've been told... What can you do to support your mitochondria?

@Louise Size I am all over it, yes, its a beautiful journey for sure. I recently began supporting mitochondria restoration and I'm hopeful that the protocol will be positive in the coming months. Gut health I support with proper hydration (structured water too), bone broths, gelatine and so on, I tend to eat ancestrally, close to our roots

@Louise Size the best is fruit for H30, although winter time is better to have bone broths if you are in a colder climate. Electrolytes serve us all well - just simple grey salt in distilled water is better than nothing, water is a more complex issue that we think I feel.
