Christian communities are HIGH in the ranks on Skool!
I just wanted to take a minute to congratulate @Louis Moore III. He has the #1 Bible Study community here on Skool and it's hyper active. It's called Hope Nation. Louis stepped out in faith and wanted to teach the Bible and build a community around it! Louis is a great leader and is now recognized by Skool as being in the top 1% of community builders. If you notice, he has a star by his name. It's an honor to have met him and to have him here in this community! Why does this matter? Because as people and communities rank on Skool, they get promoted in a way that puts more eyes on them. This is an awesome way for people who may not otherwise hear the Gospel, have a chance to see it here on this platform. I see a lot of other "spiritual" communities higher in the discovery rankings.... but wouldn't it be awesome to see more?? How does this happen? Communities with high engagement make it happen. So when we talk to each other, we get points. When we get points, we rank higher. When we rank higher, more people see Christ.

Heaven on Earth
This is the view from our Airbnb in Bass Lake! For a brief period, I imagined what the New Heaven and the New Earth would look like. Sort of a glimpse into what Revelation 21 would look like. Such a cool view!

Does Size Matter?
Does the size of your church matter? Some people prefer smaller churches. Some love the giant church with thousands of members. Do you think that the size of your church matters enough to change how you worship God? If so, why? --> No wrong answers. Just wondering.

I definitely think the daily ops change for pastors. My church plant with <20 was a different ball game than leading my sending church of 200. However, I don’t think the biblical plan should change. My Bible concept is from Titus 1, where he was instructed to appoint elders in every city. Today we’d say neighborhood, or “downtown Hammond” vs “North Hammond.” Some churches divide the congregation by age group. And notice that Titus’s church at Crete was relatively new compared to Timothy’s church in Ephesus. Titus was instructed to appoint multiple pastors; Timothy was to appoint pastors AND deacons. So… As the church grows, so should the number of pastors and eventually deacons to disciple and serve the church, respectively. What’s cool is that it’s easier to facilitate some of that with platforms like Skool or livestreams (also now possible on Skool for admins). So should the church change as it grows? Not its methods, but definitely its application. And all that said—I just reread your prompt and realized it was more about how I individually worship, prefer, and serve. So to that point, I think as long as the above principles are followed, I’ll have a place to serve in the church—whether as pastor or a lay Christian!

Hey guys, just realized I never introduced myself! I’m a church planting pastor in Louisiana, about halfway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. I’ve been on Skool for several years and even made a group for my church people—but I didn’t really have church people to put into it 😂 So now I’m trying to think through ways to utilize Skool for my launch team, and then afterwards we launch, how to use it to serve the church. Always happy to encourage and pray with y’all, and I’m looking forward to learning from you and @Billy Punt
10 Ways to Implement Skool in Your Church Right Now
If you want a simpler, clearer, more connected church… Don't want to read? Watch the video here #11-21-2025 - 10 Ways You Can Implement Skool Now! here are 10 easy wins you can set up this week: 1️⃣ Replace/Enhance Your Bulletin With a Weekly Thread Post “This Week at ___ Church” every Monday. Everyone gets notifications. (multiple ways to structure this) No more missed messages. Pair it with a calendar event and they get reminded 24 hours prior! 2️⃣ Build a Baptism Pipeline Create a Baptism 101 course → add members → schedule the class. Skool auto-reminds them 24 hours before. Someone gets baptized → Remove that member → They don't need the notifications any more. 3️⃣ Organize Small Groups With Categories Make a category in the community for each group. Leaders post updates + devo thoughts. Members “follow” the leader to get notified instantly. 4️⃣ Launch a New Members Course Create a 4-lesson “Welcome to Our Church” module. Add guests as they visit. Invite them to your next New Member Lunch on the calendar. (You can calendar in-person events) 5️⃣ Run a 7-Day Bible or Prayer Challenge Daily posts. Daily reminders. Church-wide momentum. This spikes engagement fast. 6️⃣ Build a Volunteer Onboarding System Upload training videos + expectations into a course. Add new volunteers. Schedule quarterly trainings on the calendar. Skool handles the reminders. 7️⃣ Use the Calendar for ALL Events Services, rehearsals, youth nights, outreach — everything. Skool sends automatic 24-hour reminders and includes your church address. 8️⃣ Create a Prayer & Praise Wall Two categories: Prayer Requests + Praise Reports. This becomes your digital foyer — people engage constantly. 9️⃣ Train Your Leaders With Private Courses Add only pastors, elders, group leaders, worship leaders, or ministry directors. Teach your culture, systems, and expectations directly through lessons. 🔟 Host Monthly Pastor Q&A or Deep-Dive Nights

Here’s a cool feature, you can see who refers people! So if you have a member refer someone to the baptism course, you can see “Referred by so&so” This would be a cool thing to use for any kind of growth campaigns or even small group invites!
