Artist Wheels
I’ve been away in Bali, which was fantastic. I missed the catchup and the 2nd module meeting. Which I will watch once I have fully understood and worked through module 1. I did some work on the wheels while away. I didn’t want to just move away from them without fully understanding the purpose behind them. We did work through them a little together but I wanted a little more clarity. The biggest thing standing out to me is not confidence, technical skill, business knowledge, or even artistic talent. I know these will come. It is It’s this: I need a sustainable structure that gives my art regular, protected space in my life — without relying on external deadlines to make that happen. I tend to get my act together to finish things when I have a deadline for submission. 1. The first priority: Consistency + protected creative time 2. The second priority: Finishing + staying with your work 3. The deeper layer: Purpose + permission I think I’m ready to move on now 😊
Let’s Stay Connected 😃
In keeping with this month’s theme of connection, it came up in conversation that it would be lovely to stay connected beyond the group too. Share your Instagram handle or other social links below so we can find, support each other and stay in touch.

Good morning looking forward to tonight’s meeting. Just wondering where we find the PDFs for the artist wheels? @Lyne Tilt 😊
Hello from Dudley, Newcastle NSW
Hi my name is Rebekah or Bek my instagram is @rebekahmurrayart. I live in a small beachside suburb in Newcastle NSW- Dudley. I am open to all forms of painting, however currently I am enjoying Oil painting- still life and interiors are my favourite. I also enjoy Plein Air I try and meet with a group every Friday at locations all around Newcastle, which I absolutely love. ✨ One thing Im hoping to get from this community is a sense of belonging. Im keen to learn more from everyone else’s experiences and share anything from my own. I feel like I am at a bit of a stand still. I don’t have the structure or knowledge to know where to go next or how! I want to find my niche, at the moment I feel like I do a bit of this and a bit of that. 👩🏻‍🎨 My main goal would be to learn how to create and more importantly, finish, a body of work or series I can work with to move forward. Very excited to meet everyone 😊 WIP - Inspiration from the Instagroup- room portrait club - they have the most amazing photos to work from.

Newbie Introduction
Hello everyone, I'm Paula but also go by my online handle of Paradoxis, or Para for short. Thank you for including me in this group. I'm looking forward to learning from fellow artists and sharing the journey with all it's ups and downs. I've been focusing on my art on a daily basis since 2018, and have built up quite a body of work. I've entered competitions and exhibitions all over Brisbane and have been featured in international online galleries as well. But I've gone as far as I can on my own. Now I recognise that I can't do it on my own. I can't learn or do everything by myself. I need help, direction, guidance. So finding the Inner Circle has been a godsend for me. A place where I can ask questions and learn. I want to take my practice to the next level. I'm not even sure what that entails, exactly, but it will be fun (and scary) to find out. :) Looking forward to getting to know you all, Paula aka Para.
