Hi everyone, I’m Connor I’ve been barbering for just shy of a year and a half now. I’ve been enjoying getting into the barber shop and getting stuck in to a busy environment. I am now at that point where I want to level up my ability and focus more on really in depth learning and from what I’ve seen following Nathan on Instagram from since he was at his barber shop he’s the man to learn from. I’m looking forward to getting stuck into this and seeing how everyone else progresses and how we can help each other!

So I was offered a room inside a massive gym chain to open my own studio which i immediately said yes too this is my first week and its building very steadily however ive been asked too open another one in another gym and have basically been told that if this works I could have a studio in every gym and they are projected to have 50 gyms by next year! Im just struggling with momentum rn and getting banners and leaflets etc the gym is also very quiet at the minute so right now im relying on previous clients to get started. The barber studio is accessible to public without any further payment or admission fee etc Im just basically looking for advice outside of posting content to get up to speed and gaining attention clients and traction. End of the day im obsessed with the journey of cutting hair but im also realistic in the sense I have to make money to be able to do that! Also struggling to get verified on Google as a business.✂️💈🔥

@Mark Rostron from UK I has joined Hair Founders I first spoke with Mark in November 2025 where he said to me “this is my last attempt, if this education doesn’t work, I’m quitting the industry” I helped Mark stay in the industry, we did a 4 day 1-1 class in January, and now he’s just put an offer on a shop to open at the end of March.
