For me I have always enjoyed the storm passage in Mark 4:35-41. I found it incredibly comforting to see the disciples who have been following Jesus for quite some time still struggling in their faith to know who Jesus is, as well as the purpose of the Kingdom. Despite his rebuke, I find it as a loving reminder that the waters (i.e., chaos) and winds of life were calmed by the word of Jesus. I try to remember this reality when I experience the uncertainties of life.

Hey Bible Nerds! I’m Chase. I’ll be your fearless guide as we dive into the greatest story ever told—the story of Scripture.
