Sassy Water: The Easiest Daily Upgrade You’re Not Using Yet
If you’ve been looking for a simple, low-effort way to support your metabolism, reduce bloating, and feel lighter throughout the day, Sassy Water deserves a spot in your routine. Originally created by nutrition editor Cynthia Sass, this refreshing blend turns ordinary water into something that genuinely supports your body’s natural processes. No gimmicks, no magic. Just strategic hydration. What’s in Sassy Water?💧 - Filtered water 💦 - Fresh cucumber slices - A handful of mint leaves - Grated or sliced ginger - Fresh lemon Let it steep overnight, and you’ll wake up to a crisp, cooling drink that tastes like a spa day in a bottle. Why It Works 1. Helps Reduce Bloating Mint and ginger are a powerful duo—both support digestion, help the stomach settle, and reduce that heavy, sluggish feeling. 2. Supports Hydration at a Higher Level Let’s be honest: most people don’t drink enough water because it’s… plain. The flavor boost makes it easy to hit your daily intake without forcing it. 3. Can Aid in Weight-Management Efforts Ginger and lemon can nudge metabolism in the right direction, especially when paired with consistent hydration and better food choices. 4. Naturally Curbs Cravings A hydrated body is less likely to send false hunger signals. The fresh taste also helps clean up the palate and reduce the urge for sugary drinks. 5. Boosts Energy and Mental Clarity Better hydration + improved digestion = a noticeably cleaner kind of energy throughout the day. How to Use It Drink a glass first thing in the morning and sip the rest throughout the day. It’s simple, sustainable, and easy for even the busiest parent or professional to plug into their routine. Question for the Community Who’s tried Sassy Water before—and what benefits did you feel? If you haven’t tried it yet, what’s the biggest thing you struggle with when it comes to hydration?

I. have to drive over an hour for a decent grocery to get fresh produce. I went yesterday and I had my first glass of Sassy water this morning. Now I am sipping. The freshness is wonderful.

We use ours 2 or 3 times a week at least. I have never had anything that did not taste good on it from chicken, pork chops, steak, all breakfast foods, even cookies when camping

We always cook vegetables on it!
Wake up time!
🌱 Thursday Morning Rooted Thought Most people wake up and immediately reach for their phone—scrolling, reacting, comparing. But here’s what I’ve learned: 👉 The day is often won or lost in the first 30 minutes. When I choose to root myself instead of letting the world decide my state, the difference is night and day. Here are a few practices that have been powerful for me—and why they work: 🙏 Prayer – Gratitude and surrender set the heart before the mind ever gets loud. 🧘 Meditation – Creates space between thoughts so the day starts from calm, not chaos. 📖 Reading – Even a page of wisdom or encouragement feeds the mind before negativity can. ☀️ Sunlight in your eyes – Tells your body it’s time to wake up, boosting energy and regulating your natural rhythms. 🌬️ Breathing – A few slow, intentional breaths lower stress and center you in the present moment. None of these require an hour or a perfect routine. Even 5–10 minutes shifts everything—focus, energy, patience, clarity. The world will always pull at us the second we wake up. These practices remind me that I get to choose how I show up. What’s one habit you’ve tried (or want to try) that roots your mornings in peace and intention?

I’m a morning person by nature. I begin the day with prayer and 4 animals. I do my meditation and Bible study on “stay home “ days but I will be honest I have often skipped this lately on these dates filled with appointments
