To Sam, Alex and the Skool team, Please consider either the option to 'opt out' of the leaderboard tab (like you have with the Classroom and calendar tabs) or allow the paying skool community creators the option to 'choose' the point levels rather than just deal with the default. The reason for this is I want my community members to be able to both transform within the classroom and contribute and learn from within the community and receive 'unlocks/bonuses' as I (the creator) sees fit and not have members having to feel as though they need to like everything. Having this option will also lessen the need to 'clog up the classroom' with another 'course' listing and get have a better chance of seeing more activity within the 30 day windows that Skool releases as well as lessening the amount communities that have the majority of their members at Level 1. Optics is one aspect of future members considering every Skool community. I want my members to explore other Skool communities which helps everyone with the common goal of being part of the 'Gold Standard' of community building which I am sure Skool is striving for. We all know that with the success of Skool many members are in many groups which negatively effects other members within your group b/c their time is stretched and time management within Skool is not mentioned often. You need members to grow your group but you also need those same members to be the most active. So as much as I appreciate the algorithm within Skool I am also wanting to create an ROI and MRR/ARR to keep me at Skool. The Skool games is based on MRR/ARR not community interactions so that is moving towards the classroom and offers rather than leaderboards. This is great and it was awesome to see the close finish in the games last month and there is immense value in the Top 10 recording. In closing, I hope that you will consider my thoughts above as we all work together to create Skool as the go to community out in the Membership and Transformational world.
