Help! Business Advice?
I’m considering changing my business model and want advice, as I really want to think deeply about this before making a decision. Year 1: We only did organic content on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram for small businesses (no specific niche). It went well, profit margins were around 75% and it was fun. The issue was that I didn’t know how to sell very well or keep clients from churning. Year 2: We worked with 20+ clients, and I got cocky. I added a lot of people to the team, started offering video, and made things overly complicated. As a result, our margins dropped to 15%. Year 3 (now): We switched to lead generation for blue-collar businesses, offering “45 leads in 90 days” using LinkedIn DMs. We stopped doing organic content like we did in Years 1 and 2. Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten results for our five construction clients, and margins are now down to 6%. It feels like the business is about to burn down. Clients are upset, and so am I. I know I need to make a drastic change. I want to go back to what I was doing in Year 1, since profit margins were higher, and now I’ve learned things I could do differently to fix issues with systems, sales, churn, and client acquisition. I don’t want to offer lead generation anymore. I also don’t want to run paid ads... it’s expensive to get results, and even if clients cover the cost, I don’t want to deal with it. Instead, I want to offer video creation and organic content, paired with outbound. I won’t make the bold promise of “45 leads in 90 days.” Instead, I’d focus on building strong brand reputation and trust. The leads that come from outbound would be seen as a bonus. I hate not delivering what I’ve promised. It’s draining me mentally and financially. I don’t want to continue down this path. I’m not giving up on this business, I just need guidance on the steps forward. Also, I don’t really like construction or feel passionate about it. I don’t want to be creating content about it on my own pages to book appointments in this niche.

@Chloe Coston Totally get where you’re coming from, this happens to a lot of people after scaling too fast or overcomplicating what once worked. Honestly, going back to your Year 1 model isn’t a step back, it’s a smart reset. You already know organic content is your strength, now you can rebuild it with better systems for sales, retention, and client experience. My advice: - Keep things simple — one clear offer, one type of client. - Pick a niche you actually enjoy working with. - Combine organic content with light outbound (as convo starters, not hard lead gen). You’re not starting over, you’re restarting with experience. That’s a big difference.
Cold SMS
Yo guys. How are you getting a phone number to use for COLD SMS(by not having a business and not being a resident in US/Canada)?

@Emir Demirgezer Hi Emir, are you still looking for phone numbers for Cold SMS? I can help you with that

@Emir Demirgezer, which outreach method are you using to reach out to clients?
Instagram DM's are showing in the hidden requests section
Guys, I just bought accounts from 2023 and even from 2015, but all of them are landing in the hidden requests section. This wasn't the case before — just six months ago, everything was working fine. Back then, when I bought new accounts, DMs were going into the regular request folder. As before, I’m still using static residential proxies, so nothing has changed on that front. I just can’t figure out what’s causing this issue now. Any suggestions or solutions would be highly appreciated!

@Timmy Sim This is actually happening more often now because Instagram has tightened up on spam and automation over the past few months. Even if you’re using old accounts and residential proxies, IG looks at account trust, activity patterns, and engagement history before deciding where your DMs land. Have you tried cold SMS for outreach I’ve heard it’s been working really well for booking appointments.
I'll pay you for your linkedin account
Hey everyone. If anyone has a US based linkedin account they don't use/collecting dust, I'll pay you monthly to rent it from you. (will be used for cold outreach) If not, no worries. Thanks!

@Malachi Gill just curious—have you tried cold SMS outreach as well, or do you stick with LinkedIn only?
