Day 39 - Triumphant Sword- Wielding Child of God
When fear or worry tries to overwhelm you, remember that the God who rides the heavens comes to your rescue. He is both your protecting shield and your triumphant sword. Just as the sunrise drives out darkness, His Word—spoken by you—drives out fear and heaviness, bringing light and victory to your life. Question to Ponder: Where do you need to take up your “triumphant sword” today and speak God’s promises to drive out darkness?

yep, the only thing we can do when fear tries to steal our joy is to speak the truth of the word. thank you, God, for your word. what would we do without it.
Day 38 - Dependent-on-Daddy Child of God
When Jesus wanted to teach His followers about greatness in the Kingdom of Heaven, He didn’t point to a powerful leader or a wise elder—He pointed to a child. At first glance, that seems puzzling. Children can be impulsive, demanding, and often think the world revolves around them! So what did Jesus see that others might have missed? His example invites us to look deeper into what true humility really means—and how it completely reshapes the way we relate to our Heavenly Father. Ponder Question: What lesson about humility might Jesus want you to learn from the heart of a child? *These daily devos are taken from my book: More Than A Ticket to Heaven, "101 days discovering your identity, inheritance and influence as a child of God."

Day 35 - Employing-the-"But" Child of God
In John 16:33, Jesus reminds us that while we will face tribulation in this world, we can still live with peace and confidence because He has overcome the world. That small word but changes everything—it cancels out fear, chaos, and defeat. The power of the world to harm us has been stripped away through Christ’s victory. We can live in courage, peace, and faith, choosing to focus on God’s promises rather than the world’s bad news. As citizens of God’s Kingdom, we are not of this world, and His Word guarantees our protection, health, and peace when we trust Him fully. Question to Ponder: Which side of the "but" are you living on today—the world’s fear and chaos, or God’s peace and victory?

Day 34 - Never-Alone Child of God
As a child of God, you are never alone. Just as God was with David through every season of his life—victories, failures, and everything in between—He is with you too. The Holy Spirit not only walks beside you but now lives within you, guiding, strengthening, and comforting you in all you do. Whether you’re working, parenting, or simply going about your day, God’s presence surrounds you. Expect to hear His voice and follow His leading, for He will never leave you nor forsake you. Question to Ponder:How might your day look different if you lived fully aware that the Holy Spirit is not only beside you but living within you, guiding your every step?

I believe this is what He was saying in "I will never leave you or forsake you, BC He is always directing and guiding us to truth.
