@Melenie Sander I tried counting sheep and the sheep and started talking to each other. Well the sheep weren’t talking to me I was talking to them all night about my problems. Sheep therapy 😂😂

Hello everyone, my name is Marqueita but you can call me Chee Chee. I had a stroke 4 years ago this month and I have worked hard to get where I am today and I am thankful. I noticed I am not quite back to myself and I have inflammation, headaches, body aches and brain fog sometimes and hormonal issues feel myself coming back to some sort of normalcy and I want to close the gap and get as close as I can back to myself before the stroke. I believe in holistic medicine. My mom would take us to the doctor or hospital only if we have passed out or a deep wound or if we broke something on our body. Otherwise they would go out and forage and use the herbs at home. My grandmother was able to keep her husband alive after he was shot in the head. He lived for many years after. So I know it works

This is a new way of living and I am excited for the journey. I plan to buy a shirt from Perkky that says “A cured patient is a lost customer” that is for big pharma!!
Sugar: worse than what you think!
There is no question that the epidemic of chronic health issues we are currently facing correlates with the increase in sugar consumption (and seed oils). In other words, in order to regain our health, we need to address this issue. What I mean by sugar is refined sugar, like corn sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and white sugar. These sugars are the worst because they wreak havoc on your body in several ways. First, sugar affects your immune system. When you consume sugar, your white blood cell activity is reduced for the next 2 weeks, making you more prone to infections and illnesses. Have you ever wondered why the flu season is at its worse after the holidays? Second, sugar depletes your body of vitamin D, which, again, increases your risk of infections and other health issues, as vitamin D performs more than 100 functions in the body. In addition, sugar also depletes magnesium and calcium. Third, sugar consumption increases your appetite by about 400-500 more calories a day! So, sugar by itself leads to weight gain and, indirectly, increases your appetite. Therefore, make every effort possible to cut out sugar completely. On the other side, natural options are dates, coconut sugar, maple syrup, allulose, and stevia. These are good in moderation!

I am pulling back from sugar and it is hard, so hard and now I want sugar. Lots of it but I pray for discipline over desire
