ā˜Žļø Why I don't do sales calls (and what I do instead) ...
I used to do the sales call thing. Book a Zoom. Follow the script. Try to close the deal. It’s what a lot of mentors recommend. But every time I got off one of those calls, I felt drained. Even when someone said yes, it didn’t feel like a win. Most of the time, they weren’t actually ready. They’d ghost, skip workouts, or push back on the plan. The whole process felt forced. So I changed how I did things. Now, I use a simple offer doc that does the explaining for me. It outlines what the program is, who it’s for, what to expect, and the options available. By the time someone gets on a call with me, they’ve already seen everything they need to know.... and they’re coming in with clarity and intent. All that’s left is a quick chat to see if we’re the right fit. Since making this shift, I’ve closed way more aligned clients, saved hours of time, and actually enjoy the process again. Big Changes Are Coming for UK Fitness Coaches Using Instagram Ads! New UK laws were recently rolled out that make it easier for people to opt out of ad tracking. Why.... well, Meta broke the rules! After a long investigation, Meta was fined millions and forced to change how they handle personal data. This means that we will lose access to crucial data about users interests, behaviours, and actions. Instagram’s algorithm will have less information to match your ads to the people most likely to buy from you. Targeting gets fuzzier, ads get less effective, and you have to spend more to get the same results. But... Right now, ads are still working. People haven’t opted out yet. The window is wide open and smart coaches are doubling down while they can. But... We’ll likely feel it harder in 2026, fewer ideal clients reached, higher ad costs, and weaker campaign results.
