I'm getting my SKOOL community set up š Tbh the built in Skool payments features looks pretty great in terms of everything they can do (both for admin and subscribers) but the lack of options in terms of coupons, trials, bundles etc has swayed me back to Thrivecart. So! Any advice from those of you who have this setup? Things to keep an eye out for or anything you wish you did differently? Also, with this set up I'm guessing I need zaps to get paid member access set up. Any advice for this step? Thanks!
I love predictions - I love to think about them myself and I LOVE to hear what other people think is coming in terms of trends, shifts, and where we're headed as a community and the creator space as a whole. So.... what are *your* predictions for the creator space, online biz, etc for 2024 and beyond? š® Let's share in the comments!
@Debra Larson So on point!!! Heart centered, creating of space and more time freedom. Relationship based, deeper work, more results quickly and without the fluff!!!
@Debra Larson Simple is the answer moving forward, as well as having the expansion in our energy field and nervous systems to truly āstep inā to the things we want that are our most highest intention priorities - instead of filling the time and calendar with tons of low intention priorities! ššš
Is it a bad idea to use unlisted YouTube videos for embedding your course videos? I have been using the free plan of Vidyard but Iām at the max number of videos for that now and was considering Vimeo but also trying to keep my subscription expenses down while I build up my revenue.
Hi @Mariah Coz! I know you arenāt one to usually launch or sell for Black Friday, and Iām feeling the same way. However, I am launching a new entry point low ticket offer this month, and wondering what your thoughts are for best launch times in Nov and early December!
I actually looked at them ALL. Iām big into building community, and also happen to have my courses right now on Kajabi. The fact that Iām paying for Kajabi and have the community feature included, shows where I am at with the community feature there. Iāve trialed everything from MN, to Heartbeat and Circle and a few others in between. I love tech and simple tech at that and do heavy research. I built my community on a white label app called Pensil, which is a newer platform (around 4 years old), and the interface is a combo of Slack and Facebook (without the FB). Is it as dynamic as Iād like it to be no! But it does have an app (which I can customize) and the interface is simple (and visually beautiful). Previous to this change, I had my communities on Slack. This platform is working right now for my higher ticket, as itās a smaller number. For functionality, experience and ease of use and everything else that @Mariah Coz said, once I create a larger subscription model, Iād go with Skool! Iām still waiting for a few other features!
Hi all! I'm noodling through all the offer options for my membership... The goal is to support purpose-driven entrepreneurs to overcome resistance to creating and sharing authentic content marketing. I have BIG plans but want to consider how I might pare things down to start super simple but keep it high value. Question: if you identify as a purpose-driven entrepreneur (aka heart-centred, spirit-led, impact entrepreneur etc) would you be interested in super simple airtable systems (templates that are grab and go) to use to streamline brainstorming, production, and management of your content so you can be more inspired and consistent? If not, are there other systems you'd rather use for managing your content?
I totally would be! Iād love to learn how to use Airtable, but I have so many other things on first! Wish there was a plug and play system so I can get started!
@Danielle Sutton Id like to keep track of the individuals who are in my hybrid group coaching program and when their year is up and also setup automations with an email sequence to begin when they are close to their renewal!

@Mariah Coz LOVE this training, and really like the idea of a free group + one-off paid products! However; it is my understanding that this feature is not yet available in Skool! Has it been created yet?
In this video we talk about lead generation, audience building, and driving traffic to your offers. Watch the new training here, it's action packed and only 15 minutes! Lead Gen is an ongoing commitment in your business. You have to fuel your sales with lead generation. You need ongoing audience building strategies. That's the reality of growing a business! Iām sharing my super minimalist approach to audience growth in this short and sweet training video. In this video: - You can either pay with your money or your time to grow your audience - How I grew my audience as a newbie in 2015 vs. now - How collaborations and joint ventures helped me grow my audience quickly as a beginner - My transition from relying mostly on paid ads for a few years to more organic methods in 2023 - A simple 3-part approach to marketing and lead generation - The difference between a Nurture channel and a Visibility channel and why you need both - My simple podcast workflow from google doc to recording to publishing with zero editing (takes less than 2 hours per week) - How I repurpose my podcast outline into emails, blog posts, and moreĀ - How we added hundreds of new qualified email subscribers to our list by strategically giving our low ticket products away for free - Leveraging low ticket offers into lead gen (generosity = more sales!) ā After you've watched the video, ask your questions and share your thoughts in the comments below this post!
Watched this and loved ā¤ļø it! I create SOO much free content and actually want to take a break from my livestream sometimes! However, when I go back and look at something from even a year ago, it seems so dated and I do reference stuff like holidays etc or dates. I have almost 100 episodes, definitely looking to see how I repurpose better and take that needed time off!
Podcast Chats are where we keep the conversation going and dive deeper into the topics on our podcast episodes! This thread is for the episode, "Payment Plans vs. Subscriptions and Monthly Memberships" š§ You can find this episode by searching for The Mariah Coz Show on your favorite podcast app! ā”ļø I'd love to know - what did you think? Any insights, questions or takeaways you'd like to share in the comments? In this episode, Iām sharing why we chose to go with a subscription type pricing structure for our new offer, Monetize, (subscription meaning you can sign up, cancel anytime, come back anytime) rather than the typical payment plan or pay in full options. In this episode: - Why we chose to create Monetize as a monthly subscription - The simple subscription offer I was designing *before* Monetize became a thing, to give you an example - My fears and hesitations around a subscription vs. payment plan structure - How I think it will impact revenue, for better or for worse - How embracing simplicity and enoughness changed my perspective on what a subscription had to look like - How a subscription type offer fits in with my vision for my evolving ecosystem of various offers - Certain types of offers make sense as a subscription and some donāt - The 3 specific things Iām focusing on to make this subscription a successĀ - Answering your biggest questions about subscription offers š§ Find the Mariah Coz Show podcast on your favorite app to listen! I JUST listened to this one yesterday, and I can totally identify with settling for a system that works, but itās not āitā. Iām wondering š if you decided to bring your high ticket community from Slack here and if you did move all your high ticket curriculum also to Skool, or are you still keeping you larger courses on the old platform until Skool offers more updates! Itās also great that you wanted to create a fun vibe and came here through someone elseās course and community! This is exactly my experience with your community and Skool!
āMonetize With Mariah is officially open - and you can join us here!ā Me and Skool have teamed up to create this new experience for creators who are monetizing through community, content, courses and digital products, with a focus on recurring revenue. Monetize is just $99/month (it's a subscription, so you can cancel anytime, but I know once you're inside you will want to stay!). It includes a Skool software account for free as long as you're a member. (Skool is normally $99/month on it's own, so this is just a no-brainer). ā What's included: - My new course, "Monetize" (new content), templates and resources - Bonuses like Champagne Client Content Kit, Map Your Model, Fearless CEO Mindset Course and more - Q&A Private Podcast - members can submit questions & topics, the private feed already has over 50+ episodes with more added regularly - Private community for members - A *FREE* Skool software subscription account is included in your membership (usually $99/month, but you get it included!) āMonetize With Mariah is open - join us here! ā”ļø Please ask your questions about MONETIZE in the comments below ā¤ļø Huge thank you to our partner and sponsor Skool for making this bundle possible!
Hi lovelies, I'm creating a sales funnel to add more accessibility to my 1:1 coaching services, which I sell as a 6 month package. I'm not sure about pricing or how to structure my low ticket offers (numbers tend to make my head spin). Would love to source all y'all's genius to help me pin down a direction to take! I am creating a quiz for the start of the funnel that leads into a 7 day mini email course (free) which then leads to my low-ticket offer... Access to a community, monthly video lesson, monthly group coaching call, workbook pdf & pleasure practices around the monthly theme ($297/mo or $3000/yr) The focus is about how to harness the power of relationship transitions (breakups, divorces, relationship structures, etc) and turn pain into deep healing and personal transformation. Because of the topic, I think community support would be invaluable. My coaching packages are $3777 or $600/mo for 6 months. Is $297/mo too low for this amount of labor on my end? Does this sound like a solid structure? I'm also worried about offering too much in the low ticket offer for people to want to bump to the 1:1 sessions. Anxiety is getting in the way of my ability to reason. š
