On Thursday, I travelled to Punjab to see my spiritual teacher. I am still here…in Punjab. Listening to him live is an entirely different experience… his presence, his luminous aura, and a voice that carries a depth and sweetness nothing in this world can match. The love with which he speaks is something you don’t just hear; you feel it in every part of you. It feels like yesterday when, at 14, I had my first astral experience through his grace. I remember thinking I had reached the pinnacle … that I had discovered the other side of life. I had no idea it was only the beginning. The universe within is far more infinite than anything outside us. Every time I believed I had reached the peak of awakening, something new opened up and shattered another set of concepts I once held tightly. Bit by bit, everything I thought was “solid” dissolved, until the truth became unavoidable… What saints like Kabir and Rumi repeated endlessly became a lived reality … this world is indeed an illusion…it appears real only because we cling to it - attach ourselves to it! I hope I am able to do justice to all of you on this path. I will give my best as a teacher, because I am accountable to my own teacher for the way I guide you. I am planning to begin weekly classes from January/February onwards. I cannot commit to a specific date yet, as a major event in my life is approaching, and the schedule will be adjusted around it.

The Guest House This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they are a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, atill, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearling you out for some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice. Meet them at the door laughing and invite them in. Be grateful for whatever comes.
