You're Early – Here's What This Community Is About!
If you're reading this, you're one of the first people in this community. That means a lot to me – and I want to be upfront about where we are and where we're going. What This Community Is About I'm building a place for people who want to build real software with AI – not demos, not toys, but actual products that work. This is not another "build an app in 5 minutes" hype space. We focus on substance: understanding what you're doing, building sustainable projects, and becoming someone who can lead AI to create real things. I call this role "Vibe Coding Engineer" – someone who understands software architecture, communicates clearly with AI, reviews and debugs output, and actually ships products. Not a traditional developer, not a no-coder – something new. What You Can Expect Here This is a place to learn together, share what's working (and what isn't), ask questions, and help each other grow. I'll be sharing my own learnings, experiments, and mistakes along the way. The community is just getting started – I'm building it alongside you in real time. If you're okay with that, you're in the right place. Bonus: Structured Learning Resources On top of the community, I'm also creating structured learning resources that cover everything you need to become a Vibe Coding Engineer. As one of the first 50 members, you'll get all of them for free – no catches. These will be structured in 4 levels: 🟢 Level 1: Must-Know Basics – IDE setup, terminal, Git, file structure, debugging, prompting. The foundation. 🟡 Level 2: Should-Know Foundations – CLAUDE.md, MVP thinking, design systems, component thinking, API basics. Skippable – but it'll get messy without it. 🟠 Level 3: Building Complete Apps – Databases, auth, state management, testing, reviewing AI output. After this, you can ship real apps. 🔴 Level 4: Deeper Understanding – Advanced Git, DevOps, security, frameworks. Not required – but makes you more effective. Let's build something real together!

Question to you - about the term "Vibe Coding"
The term vibe coding has only been coined this year in February. It was named Collins Dictionary's Word of the Year for 2025. Do you think the term will establish itself as a general accepted term for coding with AI? Or do you think it's rather a trend term?

What are you building?
When looking for a project time tracking app, every single time I downloaded an app it took me several minutes to figure out the very basics. All I wanted is to open the App, create my Project, create the task and not have all the fluff I don't need. A simple tool to track my times and also be able to synchronize with Notion. So instead of looking for it, I just started to build it - this is now 3 weeks ago. Now I am here. The App is still in developement, but I've come super far and learned a lot already! I have most of the features down, but it still needs some polishing and proper tracking implemented. I will share everything i learned making that app and more soon! Stay tuned

What are you building?
Welcome to Vibe Coding Engineers! 🚀
Hey! I'm Lukas, and I'm building this community for people like me. Who am I? I'm not a traditional developer. I know my way around Git, project structure, and debugging. I understand code – I just don't write every line myself anymore. I'm currently finishing my first real app, built entirely with AI (Claude Code). And I've learned a ton along the way. Why this community? There's a lot of hype around "Vibe Coding" right now. People promising you can build apps in 5 minutes with a single prompt. That's not how it works. To build real, shippable software with AI, you need fundamentals: - How frontend, backend, and databases work together - Project structure and architecture - How to review and debug AI-generated code - When AI is overcomplicating things You don't need to become a 10x developer. But you need more than just prompts. What I want to build here: A place where we learn this together. No BS, no hype – just real understanding. I'll share: - What I'm learning while building my own apps - What works and what doesn't - Frameworks and resources that actually help - My wins AND my failures What I'm looking for: People who want to build real things. Not just demos. Not just "cool projects" that never ship. If you're here to learn Vibe Coding the right way – welcome. Let's figure this out together. Drop a comment and tell me: Who are you and what are your goals? Tell me a bit about yourself 👇
