Set Standards, Not Goals
Forget about goal setting. Goals are short term. Goals are task oriented. Standards are a lifestyle, a mindset, a set of non-negotiables that shape your actions. Standards are about consistency and alignment with your values. They guide your daily choices, helping you live a life that feels fulfilling, calm, and intentional. So in 2025, forget about chasing fleeting goals. Instead, ask yourself: - What standards do I want to live by? - What will I no longer compromise on? What standards will you set for yourself this year? Share below.

Had a standards talk with my son last week. I get much of my motivation around standards from listening to Ed Mylett, and having read his Power of One More book. Where were you first exposed or most exposed to this line of thinking?

@Hayley Foster it is coming. Round one is Whoop because of technical prioritization and because we have a strategic partnership with them. Oura will follow right behind Whoop though. Good point too on the whoop vs oura demographic. We for sure want women and men beta testing!

I am more of a fan of "healthspan optimization". The way the word Hacking is understood in common language does not seem to actually relate to the definition of biohacking as laid out here so it feels disconnected, thus I think use of Biohacking as a word can alienate would be devotees :)
