Something new!
Dear friends, I am starting my New Year resolution early by showing up for me and my business and partnering with another passionate business owner to run one of their business clubs. We meet monthly, in person and I hope to grow my network, support other founders and have more fun in business in 2026! How are you brining more visibility to your business moving forward?

Digital outreach and engagement just isn’t hitting like it used to. LinkedIn has become this overwhelming bizarre of everyone connecting just to try to sell you their wares. Hard to find meaningful connections. Not impossible though that’s how I met David! I feel like it’s time to take it old school. To physically get out there visit coworker spaces go to in person, mixers and meet ups.
Our New HQ!
🚀 BIG NEWS / NUESTRA EVOLUCIÓN COMIENZA 🚀 The Latino Startup and Border X Cultura are officially opening the doors to our new coworking community space — a home built for us, by us, where ideas grow, founders connect, and cultura stays at the center of everything we create. This is more than desks and WiFi. It’s a creative hub. A cultural space. A launchpad for bold entrepreneurs who want to build, learn, collaborate, and rise together. From founders testing new ideas… to creatives shaping the next generation of storytelling… to community members looking for a place that finally feels like home — this space is for all of us. We’re just getting started. And the doors are opening soon. Let’s build something powerful together. 💥🔥

New Engagement Plan for Chat!
Club de Inquietos! One of the things I feel we need to strengthen is our Chat culture. I think, initially, everyone thought it was solely for my communication purposes, but it’s not! I believe our strength comes from our community! Being an entrepreneur is hard, but having a community at your back is what propels us forward! Id like to propose the following: 🌟 Daily Engagement Guide for The Latino Startup David will post the “LEAD POST”, and everyone can add or comment to the post. We want to avoid hundreds of individual post that will overwhelm us. So, David will post early in the morning, members build on single post…. Let’s try it! Your Daily Engagement Rhythm ⭐ Monday — MINDSET Start the week with intention. Post: One mindset you’re choosing for the week. 🚀 Tuesday — ACTION Take a small step toward your idea. Post: The action you completed today. 🏆 Wednesday — WINS Celebrate your progress—big or small. Post: One win from this week. 💡 Thursday — SKILLS Learn one new founder skill or share something you discovered. Post: A tip, tool, or lesson you found helpful. 🔥 Friday — SPOTLIGHT Highlight a member. Post: What you’re working on or a founder you admire. 🧠 Saturday — BIG IDEA Explore a new concept or resource. Post: One insight, idea, or tool that inspired you. ❤️ Sunday — REFLECTION Look back and reset. POST: What you learned this week and what you’re setting out to do next.

Thursday — SKILLS
One skill I’ve learned as a founder (and as someone with ADHD) is setting boundaries that prevent me from being reactive. As founders, we tend to be doers. We jump in, fix problems, & handle fires. But that same instinct can backfire. Especially when something interrupts our flow (a client email, a Slack ping, a random idea), and before you know it we’re 45 minutes deep in something that wasn’t even on the task list. Have you been there? What’s helped me is building boundaries around my attention, not just my time. Here are a few that help me stay focused and follow through: 1.Pomodoro method – I do 25 minutes of focused work with a visible timer, then take a 5-minute break. It’s amazing how much you can get done when you know a break is coming. 2.Do Not Disturb mode on my phone during deep work blocks. Emergencies can wait 25 minutes(unles s its your kids school calling, pick those up! lol). 3.A reactions list or brain dump– If something pops into my head during a task, I write it down instead of acting on it. That way, I don’t lose the idea, but I don’t lose focus either. These small boundaries have made a major difference and not just in productivity, but in feeling in control of my day. Anyone else struggle with this before?

Fellow ADHD brain here. 💯 Leadership is a job of interruptions. Boy I couldn’t have picked the worst career right? At least for my hard wiring. So we have to create “spaces” Here are a few tools they help me as well: ALL OF MY EMAILS GO TO SPAM Crazy right? Unless someone is in my contact list or we’ve emailed each other by default emails go to Spam. When you start to promote your brand or increase your public visibility every solicitor comes out of the woodwork. It just became easier to take a few minutes to scan through my spam folder extract anything that was of interest, or an innocent caught in the trap, then trying to sort the spam from legitimate business emails. FOCUS FEATURE ON PHONES This saves my inner peace. I have an iPhone, but I believe android has a similar function. On iPhone, you can set up and configure Focus settings, and even schedule them for different times of the day. So when my work focus is on, only phone calls from existing contacts will come through. I can check voicemails as soon as I get a chance to see if I’ve missed a legitimate call but otherwise for the most part it’s SPAM. Might sound drastic, but you’ve got to protect your flow and conserve your brain energy. Most of all this helps you take back your time.
