Here's my suggested design for skool group chats, one for every category like Discord. It feels more alive than forum posts. This would have the ability to convert messages into posts to kind of save them as a separate thread that you don't want to get buried in the group chat.
My community is more effortlessly active on skype even when I'm not around but when I stop posting in skool then it's a ghost town. Group chats are so much easier for them. Skype also has a downloadable desktop app which makes a difference as well maybe. But I wish skool had the best of both worlds.
Skool should be using something like this where we can make official suggestions and vote on features we want most. Not sure if @Sam Ovens created this, but it seems like we can use it... so I'm going to start adding a few of the best suggestions I've seen from this community to it.
Right @Sam Ovens because I think it's kind of bad for Skool sales to have people complaining about bugs and what they don't like in the community here.
I wonder if people are inclined to regularly explore classrooms, it's almost like buried content that people don't look at. Just like youtube, they want content to be served to them. There should be an algorithm that serves them classroom content like a carousel directly in the community feed.
At the top of every category like discord. I think this is critical. Our community is also on Skype and it gets way more activity because itās much easier to use the group chat, we only want to post really valuable things where as group messages should only be read once. We donāt want to mix the two
