@Sid Sahasrabuddhe Hi. I'm curious about my profile and activity because it seems kind of like Skool, WeTube, and my Metamorphosis Medicine accounts are linked in my profile but also in parallel universes. I couldn't find another post about this. Maybe part of the weirdness is a reconciliation issue between my existing account and the WeTube offer initiation. I can't tell if this is a bug or my lack of understanding about the Skool/WeTube entanglement. Insight anyone?
@Sid Sahasrabuddhe It made sense to me that the profile activity for my own group (Metamorphosis Medicine) is separate. I guess I was a bit unclear about how the Skool group and Wetube groups relate in terms of my activity/profile, so when I inadvertently was in my Skool profile and saw nothing much on deck in December, I thought it was lost. And then I was sad. But now I'm happy! It seems I should get clarification that my purchase of WeTube includes payment for the group I already established and am planning to convert to a mastermind. Thanks, Sid.
Ha... I just noticed that you can highlight text and simply paste the URL from your clipboard and it will link the highlighted text in one go. No need to click on the link icon to create a link. This is much faster. Nice touch! 🙌
It seems like it might be easier to get a video transcript that can be uploaded to Skool using Loom (and maybe Wistia) compared to Vimeo. (And if anyone has iinfo about how to do this with Vimeo, bring it on, please.)
I'm just blown away as I'm migrating my course content to Skool. The classroom platform looked pretty bare bones, but it's deceptively simple. In the good sense, like Clark Kent stepping into the phone booth and emerging as Superman. I thought I'd have to compromise on how I present my content or on the appearance, but no. It's all there. It's just easier to use than Thinkific. Yeah, I realize more could be coming vis a vis payment processing, automating enrollment/handling large volume of members, but for now, this is like getting a puppy that's already been trained. Less hype, more delivery. I must be dreaming...
Introducing two new features for courses: 1. Drip — Now you can drip course content to your members over time. When adding/editing a module, turn drip on, and enter the number of days you want to module to drip after. 2. Course permissions — Now you can give some of your members access to course A, but not course B. When adding/editing a course, set permissions to "All members have access" (default), or "Only some members have access". To give specific members access, find the member from the member's list, click the "..." menu, click "Manage access", and select the course from there. These were two of the most requested features we've had, so I hope you guys like them! Check it out and let us know what you think. Enjoy!
