Adult Interaction Questions
Hi, Can someone share some ideas on how to approach the following? This is an online virtual class. 1. What are the good approaches to seeking Corporate learners to interact in a virtual class? Adult learners are not switching on their cameras. Unsure whether they are behind the screen or not. Seek different ways (polls, asking direct Q&A) to engage the learners, but there is no response. 2. The video conference tool was disabled in the breakout room cos it affected the attendance API. So how can the learners do group discussions to learn and interact? It is quite tiring for the trainers/ facilitators to do a 1-way communication. Please help me if there is/are any similar exercises, approaches, methods etc. Appreciate so much in advance.

@Tim Höfer Second the use of an interactive whiteboard like Miro. It is useful to be able to see what other people are doing and feel like it is a group activity, while also adding pressure to engage as others can see what you are up to!.
Workshop Spaces - top requirements
Hey 👋 What would be your top 5 requirements for a great workshop space for say 8 people. (Obviously sticky notes and sharpies and a great facilitator, so not going to include those 😉)

Ideally break out space if possible. Also enough room for everyone to be able to get up and physically move around the room/ engage in activities without being desk bound.
Second meeting
I have a meeting tomorrow and am feeling nervous, what tips do you use to get those jitters out? I know I'll be fine but just those butterflies.

Too late for the meeting (hope it went well!) but I find square breathing really helps me calm down. If you've not done it you breathe in for 6 (through your nose), hold for 6, breathe of for 6 (through your mouth) and hold again for six. If I focus on that and repeat 5ish times that normally helps bring me back!
Sound Signals for Starting / Ending Exercises
Dear Workshoppers, do you use some kind of Sounds or Acoustic Tools when doing Workshops in Presence, e.g. to start or end sessions, exercises etc. If yes, what kind of tool or instrument do you use? Looking forward to your Tipps. Thank you!

I often use Miro when online or hybrid and it has a built in timer i use. If in person I think these visual timers are good to show how long we have left on an activity. I just say when we are starting. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Protective-Yunbaoit-60-Minute-Countdown-Management/dp/B09YR3K9RR/ref=asc_df_B09YR3K9RR/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=570512129963&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9976473873486250106&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046888&hvtargid=pla-1657648382858&mcid=b32f6ea7361934ce8d1291774869c285&th=1

@David Newman Oh good to know, thanks!
How to spot the right decision-makers?
How can you determine the correct person to initiate a sales process with each potential customer? From your experience, is there a particular department or role that usually handles the procurement of facilitation services? I've been using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to search for potential clients, but I've encountered difficulties in identifying the appropriate profiles.
