Since I don't have many options where I'm at right now, western WV, I go to Applebee's. There are a few local restaurants that are outstanding Just don't eat out much anymore as I had to eat out everyday when I was on the road working

Who would you take on a winter getaway and what is one bucketlist experience you have? Mine is visiting the Mendenhall Glacier Ice Caves in the Tongass National Forest in Alaska!

@Erica Tisher I started skiing on Wolf Creek each weekend for the years of Jr. and Sr. High School. When we moved to Anchorage, the skiing there is completely different. Depending on the day, the lodge (at sea level) can have snow, sleet and rain all in the same day. On the slopes it's colder and the snow is better but many times is covered with ice. My three sons learned in AK. Always told them that learning there, they can ski anywhere is the world. I've only skied most of the areas in CO and the one outside of Anchorage.

@Erica Tisher The road trip is long and mostly through Canada. One a cruise headed north, suggest you get a cabin on the right side (Starboard) so you can see the most scenery of mountains.

Retired and...
I'm currently retire and temporarily living in norther WV. Resident of AK for 44 years. Looking to learn what Tiffany has to share and the growth of the community. Most of my travels have usually been work related during my years. Always listening to ideas for personal travel and tips on such, especially in today's world
