Before we start sending traffic to your pages, let’s tighten up your opt-in page to convert more people into subscribers. Today’s task: Choose any of these tips to update your opt-in page. 1. Keep it simple: Have a lot of text on your pages? Trim it back to just a headline, 2-3 sentence description, and call-to-value (what’s in it for them when they subscribe). 2. Eliminate fields: Don’t make your audience jump through hoops to join. Just ask for a first name and email address. 3. Add a picture of you: People want real people in their inboxes. Add a picture of you to your opt-in page so they know who they get to hear from each week/month. BONUS: If you’re looking to really ratchet up the subscribers, add in one of these elements: - Testimonial from a subscriber - Subscriber count - Testimonial from a buyer - A lead magnet: Add a bribe to get people to join, such as a discount, sample, checklist, or 15-minute consultation.
