In this video i connected Thrivecart as my payment processor via Zapier and a webhook to my Skool group to automate member invitation after product purchase...I hope this is helpful...Dennis
I see that everyone can see everyone else's overall course progress, not just Admins. What's the reasoning for making this public? One reason I came up with is that it helps members to immediately see where someone is at. If someone shows 80% overall course progress, maybe they've been around longer and know a thing or two, and if they have 5% overall course progress, maybe they're a newbie to the program, and so on. But I also imagine this would upset some users, or embarrass them (which may be a good thing? LOL) That said, maybe there's another way to indicate the aforementioned things without exposing their actual course progress % (like a badge in their profile based on overall course progress, but not the explicit %)? Just a thought.
As a person who used to be offended at everything, afraid of exposing myself as not perfect, scared of confrontation, AND someone who couldn't complete anything in life, (really a true statement)...I dislike AND like the idea of showing everyone the percentage. My "old me" HATES that it is shown, hahaha....the person I have grown to be today, really appreciates it. It's a fact. No need to hide it. (but again...the old me would be like..."UGH...everyone is going to see how I am STILL at 5% a month in!!!") I prefer to be the new version of me that is not afraid of the truth and doesn't need to hide anything.
Here's how I've customized my Skool group. It's still a work in progress, but maybe you can get some ideas by seeing what I'm doing with mine... I'd love to hear/see how you've customized yours well! Comment below with a tour of your group or post any suggestions for me & others :)
