A Fresh Start — Because We All Have “Those Weeks”
Last week was… an interesting one. I’d been away for a family history weekend with my relatives, and when I got back, I just felt .... well, funny. Not bad exactly, just a little off. A bit flat, a bit lonely, a bit lost in my own head. Normally I’m the determined, focused type, I stick to my routines, I stay on track. But last week? Nope. I didn’t feel like playing at my usual pace. I still showed up for what needed to be done, my clients, my commitments, but the things that keep me connected and moving forward, like journaling, meditating, podcasting, or writing, all quietly slipped off the list. Instead, I did other things, things I’d been putting off. And you know what? That was okay. Because what I learned is that sometimes, stepping back is part of moving forward. Allowing myself to feel the emotions, rather than push through them, gave me space for reflection. And through that reflection came clarity, about why my daily practices matter, how much they ground me, and how much I truly missed them. So here I am, ready for a new week. Recharged, refocused, and back on track. Because life isn’t about never falling off, it’s about realising you can always start again. So tell me, as we step into a new week, what are you choosing to start again, or what are you continuing that keeps you aligned with the life you want to live?
