Hey can anyone recommend a good but cheap (as abroad) video editor on Fiverr that can do a 30-45 minute video for $100 or less? Someone in Asia where the cost of living is lower than other nations. I'll be a talking head at my desk with mic and they can add the rest around that. Or don't they exist at this price? Thank youuu
Hi, I record my videos with a Canon Camera, and at the same time I use Zoom to record my audio as it's fed through a FocusRite amp and Shure Mic. In the edit suite (FCPX), I merge the audio with the moving pictures off the Canon. I'm reading texts off my phone during the filming, and add screen shots of what I am reading in the edit FCPX after. However, is there another way of doing a live split screen recording so that I don't need to add the the texts/images/screenshots on the FCPX timeline? I see REAX videos on social media all the time and I'm wondering how they do that? Here's a video to show you an example of what I mean https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCNoGxRw1RI&t=1s Thanks
Are you an accountant or investor or have shares in other companies or business knowledge? I'm going to take some shares in a company in part exchange for my skills in marketing/PR/business/finance. I'll also go on a low retainer. How do I work out what percentage of the company I should take versus how much my expertise is? There are 100 shares in the firm which makes it easy to work out. The start-up is turning over £500,000 per year. Thanks
*** EDIT *** I'm now going to teach how to get in the press, newspapers, online media and magazines. There is a big market for that. I will keep TV and radio to getting on for myself, and a handful of clients who's ethics align with mine, that upgrade to DFY and who are personally invited.
@Tiffany Callahan Awesome advice! Perhaps 'So Media' sounds better. I have the one you suggested in the pipeline too already but without the The! I have a few new ones to chose from now since posting. Thank you
@John Cartegna Thank you so much. I'm now actually going to make my course newspapers and magazines and only those upgraded who I select get TV and radio. I have Media Magnet and Media Mastery in my mix, as I did Chat GPT too, it's great isn't it!?
Hello lovely people, I've already sold multi six figures on my high-ticket course ($9,000 pp + 20% VAT on top if in the UK) teaching people how to get on TV shows, TV news and radio (for marketing and PR purposes). My course has been proven to work! I've had it on Kajabi. I'm going to refresh it with a new cool name to attract beginners too not just the elite experts, make it shorter as it's too long at 12 weeks (I'll half it and do the second half as an upgrade), put new funkier branding. I'm currently moving the course over to Skool (huge labourers job as I am watching all the videos and re-editing the videos). Is the strategy this then: - Get everyone onto Skool Community who wants to come, for free? - How do I upgrade them to $97 a month? Like what do I offer for that? That's the lowest I'm prepared to go - How do I sell some of the high level substance of the old course as I don't want to do that for $97 a month! TV is too high level and out of reach for most so I don't want to undersell my rare offer as what I offer is very unique and not reached any market saturation at all (supply is immensely low for demand). Do I just do an upgrade for say 500 and that upgrade is all about how to get on BBC TV News? Then repeat with other networks? Please advise. Thanking you.
@Jack Alderton I am still doing some Done For You with my high net worth clients. Ya know, me getting them on TV. I would say I want to reduce the price (and give less) so I can sell more places as price is a barrier for some. Even though practically everyone got their ROI and made huge profits, it’s a big sum for some to layout. My funnel/quality leads isn’t as big as it could be. So I thought split it up and people pay as they go and even end up paying the same amount but it seems less daunting to them that way. Not sure.
@Ed Andrew very well put. Something for me to consider. I don’t do media buying I secure free editorial coverage and free interviews for clients. If anything the media pay us for appearance fees, we don’t buy any space. I need an assistant or manager so that they don’t get so much access to me is the thing I am lacking.
Hey, so I'm putting a few free classes in my classroom that my members can watch. But after that, how do I ensure they pay for say the course on level 3? Do we manually put people into level 3 after they'd paid us? How's it work please?
I'm in Russia, visiting Moscow University. Now all I'm thinking about how is beautiful it is that some people devote 4+ years of their life to STUDYING 1 topic at a campus like this... in person! Not online. Not alone. But in person. Together. Pencil & paper in hand. I wish I could have done this for learning online business... Instead I had to learn it all on my laptop at home, alone. But imagine going to a beautiful campus surrounded by friends for 4 years to absolutely MASTER online business? That'd be SO FUN, wouldn't it? I love geeking out over business... all the nitty gritty's... Like: • How to craft irresistible offers • Understanding sales psychology • How to create amazing content • How to build a team • How to grow a cult-like following • How to sell without being salesly • How to work with clients/customers to make sure they're always happy • How to write amazing sales copy • How to design beautiful webpages • How to type faster Etc etc Think Hogwarts, but for making money online with digital products & services, like coaching and courses. I'm super curious now... If we created an in-person university, for teaching online business, and helped people get to $10,000/month as fast as possible, would you attend? I've been teaching this stuff online for years now, but I'd LOVE to teach it in person more... If we rented a University classroom, and I taught you everything I know about business over the span of 3 months, would you attend? Comment below with UNIVERSITY if you would consider attending and let's start this conversation. Best, Ted
I’m attending a 3 month short course at Oxford University next month, for that very reason! It’s gorgeous and I will meet new like minded friends. It’s a course on coaching.
