Day 3 🔥Break the fast time ⏰
Last meal last night was 7:30pm, breaking the fast at 5:30pm today = 22 hour fast ⚡️ Why this long? - autophagy kicks in at 18-22hrs, which gives you cellular and mitochondria repair (old cells get replaced with new ones), body eats away excess tissue and other junk - depletes muscle and liver glycogen and body starts tapping into fat for energy which gives you more energy and trains body to burn fat (most of the population are burning sugar/ carbs), hunger goes away bc body is eating its own fat, also ketones get produced to fuel your brain and makes you sharp AF - was busy at work and didn't have to meal prep, another benefit - improves gut health bc digestive systems gets a break which leads to better immunity, less inflammation and will improve your nutrient absorption when you do decide to eat - trains the hunger hormone ghrelin to ease off - this is what causes hunger and gives you the urge to put something in your damn mouth - so many more benefits yall!
