We talked in our live get together on Saturday about how I usually get a few hours on guitar every day. This last weekend I was moving houses and haven’t played guitar or made any guitar videos or barely made it on to Skool! It is SO easy to get out of the routine of playing/practicing. For me, I don’t notice a big decrease in my playing after only a couple days missed. But my 7 year old, it’s like he is starting over from zero if he misses even one day. Tonight we are going to have a family music night to get us all back into things. Reminder! Keep playing!

I love that we a really are a global community! As we keep growing, I look forward to seeing more people from around the world bring their guitar skill and perspective to us!

We are talking about disconnecting. Just for a few minutes, we are going to separate the strumming and the chord playing hand. We want to make sure that you’re strumming hand and your chord making hand, have the ability to think for themselves. You don’t wanna wait for one so that the other can do its job

Some thoughts of mine

Does your spouse, sibling, aunt, play an instrument? Challenge for the week. Learn “Raise a hallelujah” in the key of C. Attached is the kind of sheet music used in most churches. I will post a video of how to play it on guitar. But the challenge is to find someone to play with you.
