๐Ÿ‘€ Beginner to the stage in 2 months?!? ๐Ÿคฏ
My friends and fellow guitar players. We have a transformation to celebrate today. @Karen Anne Groothedde joined Guitar Gym Pro August 27 of this year and has shattered all expectations. She had started learning a few chords here and there, but was still struggling to change chords and strum at the same time. But, she jumped straight into the lessons, attended just about every Live Q-A, and has been the biggest fan and support to everyone in the group. I am absolutely blown away by her progress in just a short amount of time. In the video below your going to see what every guitar teacher dreams of. Their student playing live on stage doing what they love. So today join me in celebration of one heck of a transformation and one heck of a guitar player and awesome person! If youโ€™re ready for results like this, a teacher who is actually there for you, and a support network of dedicated guitar players. Join us inside Guitar Gym Pro and letโ€™s make your dreams a reality.

Thank you so much @Jake Galambos This is so nice!! I am so flattered! ๐Ÿ™โœจ First I would like to thank the academy! ๐Ÿ˜… But seriously. Before your method I thought this would have taken months. But you showed me what and how to practice. And I really (almost) only worked on this song. And it was never boring. I felt like slowly climbing a stairs. But it did not feel like effort at all. I loved that I could go as fast or as slow as I wanted. Some days I would focus on chord changes, others on strumming, or timing, or sounding good. Some days a little of everything. And then I started to play standing up. Singing the lead. And eventually the harmony. And when I posted a question or a show and tell, within 24 hours you, but also the other members would help answer my question so I could keep my momentum. And that was everything. It kept me motivated. Looking forward to the next challenge! Haha the deadline of this gig really helped too. Plus... My band did not know that I had taken lessons, so it was So Much Fun to surprise them with my new skills! So let's go next challenge! ๐Ÿคฉ

@Kristina Dolgan thank you! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Š
Besides guitar what's your other big hobby/passion?
If a guitar isn't in your hands what are you doing? No work doesn't count ๐Ÿ˜† I guarantee a few of us have similar hobbies and passions. Share them down below. As always... I'll go first. For me it's cooking ๐Ÿฅ˜ I used to hate it and never do it. But I realized I had to eat everyday and decided to learn to make at least a few thing... Turned out once I got going it was really fun!

@Jake Galambos hahaha! I've never done painting or anything with yarn. I can point to a hammer, wish I knew more about it. I know one day I'll fall in love with gardening, but I'm too restless for it now, I'll probably pick up birdwatching...collect them all like pokemon! (I'm level 43 Pokรฉmon Go) Last week we saw woodworking crafts... It looked so cool.... I think I wanna try playing violin someday. ๐Ÿค”โœจ
Need to Rave
So... There is a new member in Pro that is going through Jake G.s lesson on holding a pick. Sure a few of us jumped in and gave some great tips and suggestions but what blows me away is this. @Jake Galambos stopped everything he was doing and recorded an entirely different video response just for her. Wasn't just a couple tips either. It was personalized. My friends this is unheard of. Every online course, every 1 on 1 lesson, every book out there... Will never have this level of support. Give me your money and good luck is the standard for courses. 1 on 1 lessons... sorry youll have to wait until we meet up next week, then ill give you just enough to keep stringing you along. Books... o it didnt work like I said, sorry ๐Ÿ˜ My friends if you are at all serious about guitar, spend the $47 bucks and live out your dreams on guitar. The man should be charging thousands ๐Ÿ˜‚

And this happens every day! @Jake Yakes is right. I have never learned a skill this fast. It's the perfect, 'study at your own pace, but if you need advice; he is there' situation. @Jake Yakes we sound like a commercial... ๐Ÿ˜…
Finally Understand Different Chord Types
Today's Q&A was absolutely awesome. Ive been wondering what the heck cadd9, sus, Dim, 7s, 5s you get the idea, for a long time now. So I asked and got the best answers I've ever found. Jake G. broke it all down for us, worked through live examples, and even tested our knowledge. Super excited to not be clueless when I see something besides a cowboy chord. Thanks alot @Jake Galambos

I totally agree! It was nice to be able to connect the dots.
What do you set your thermostat at? ๐ŸŒก๏ธ
Where are you from? What's the weather like? And what are your thermostat at? I was just talking with a friend about this yesterday. We live in Arizona where it gets really hot, and I know people that keep their air conditioner set above 80. I don't think I would make it with it being 82 inside and 116 outside. Ours is usually at 76, sometimes cooler at night. How about you?
