Why Loving Your Work Isn’t Always Enough to Stay
Today I saw these 2 quotes from Naval Ravikant and they hit me like a ton of bricks. “If you can't see yourself working with someone for life, don't work with them for a day.” “Who you do business with is just as important as what you choose to do.” There are multiple reasons why I’m drifting away from my full time place of work after nearly 17 years. - It has nothing to do with the work itself (which I love). Watching my students break through their learning hurdles is what I live for.  - Nor does it have anything to do with my co-workers, as I’m mostly left to my own devices when it comes to my time in class. But it has everything to do with suffering the insecurities and short-sightedness of a micro-managing administration that never taught a single lesson. There is also the inability to negotiate my own working conditions, as they are decided by a collective agreement. That kind of arrangement favours the least effective performers and the mediocre, but removes any incentive to those who excel. Also, our agreement covers 5 years but has already expired for more than 3! To top it all off, there has been record inflation in the past 3 years, amping up the dissatisfaction even further. It would have been cool to see a 60% rise in salary... but I digress. Lessons learned: - If you’ve already proven yourself capable in an area that you love and that others are finding painful, start your own thing ASAP and keep building on it. You will outperform and outlast more than 90% of the competition. - Working with people you vibe with removes unnecessary stress. This also applies to choosing friends and who to marry. - Break the habits that no longer serve you, so you can form newer ones that will. - Live for a higher purpose than paying your bills until the day you die.  Share a thought and have a great Sunday!

I love that second quote. You have to see yourself at least liking what you do for the next few years, preferably decades.

I've Filled an Entire Book With Hormozi Notes
I've been to over 4 Skool Games now and each time Alex Hormozi says something that makes running my business 10x easier. I even sit next to Sam Ovens and HE is taking notes... That's how good these notes are. A lot of people I chat with say they really want to win the Skool Games so... I've compiled 4 different events worth of notes and condensed them down to 4 pages of what I consider to be the absolute MOST IMPORTANT pieces. Want my cleaned up and organized notes? Comment "HORMOZI 1" 👇🏻 below and I'll send em over. These notes will change the way I think about and approach business forever. I've included the best concepts he's shared as well as cutting edge Skool tactics. Want my cleaned up and organized notes? Comment "HORMOZI 1" 👇🏻 below and I'll send em over. Share them with friends and win together... Or keep them for yourself for an advantage. Major hacks inside. 👀 📒 Ted

#1 Reason Skoolers quit (don't like 97%)
I've seen a lot of good people with potential give up on Skool, I’ve even been in contact on Zoom. The hardest part of entrepreneurship is not lack of information or what to do. What I believe is the #1 problem that make all of them give up on themselves and a better life Is that they feed the wrong wolf. And if you're scratching your head wondering what I mean by "wrong wolf" it's an old story About two wolves, a good and bad. And we all choose which one to feed Let the wolf be our mindset and the food be self talk, beliefs etc. Which one survives? The one you feed. The ones who make Skool, entrepreneurship, whatsoever....work, is what wolf we feed. If we go around STILL being our old selves, believing what old friends or family are saying about our insane "dreams" and goals Then we'll inevitable give up. Because you're not the type of person who has X lifestyle and you're just "pretending" and when you feel fake/like an imposter... you go back to being your old self again and live the same life. I've been on Skool for 6 months and only last month I made my first sale at $997 For almost 6 months I was at $0 and paid for Skool $97/mo I could've said at month 4, "ah... f this" But I didn't... Want to know why? I see myself as the type of person who makes money online doing what he loves. The results are delayed BUT certain to show up. If you feel that there's so much to do and not enough mental energy or time left of the day And giving up seems like the best option Know that with every tough thing you face: - You'll handle it better next time - You have invaluable lessons - You're one day closer to your goal Please don't give up. If you're up for it, comment down below what you're feeling stuck with, is it dialing in your niche? Your offer? Who to serve? Content? Business loves speed and depression loves stagnation, let's make sure to shorten the gap between idea and action. Much love, Maximus

Love this post man, it's constantly re-evaluating our current self and if that person is becoming closer to the end goal. My current constraint is sales, so I am working on my scripts and qualification process.
