How are you all doing?
Hello, How is everyone doing? I'd love to hear some of the takeaways and/or insights you have had from the various courses you have been through so far. We are so fortunate to have had such good teaching from the team at Mosaic Learning Labs.

Hey Barbara, so good to hear from you! Miss seeing you on the live calls. A couple of things come to mind. Alex McManus’ study on Luke was spectacular. I still think about the live zoom session that we had the first week of June. He spoke on many things but what has stuck with me since, is the prayer at the end of the study. It was like nothing I had experienced before. I could so clearly see the future, and I could so loudly hear the voices of people, and the commotion of traffic and I could feel the texture of that moment which was a visual from the future. I know, sounds strange. But I felt a certainty. One that has come to me in the past when I’ve heard God’s voice call me to something unreasonable, yet necessary. I’ve thought about that moment since. How about you? @Barbara Hyde
Kindness Connects Us
One of my favorite things about learning labs is the relationships that we get to make. It never escapes me that in this very moment, all over the world people are living there own lives— different time zones, different cultures, different languages; but one single act of kindness from across the globe seems to transcend all of that. Barbara Hyde, I want to publicly acknowledge your kindness. A few times during our live sessions, Audrey, my daughter was with me. Without skipping a beat, Barbara messaged me and spoke wonderful things about little Audrey. This warmed my heart. Then the next thing I know, Barbara is sending us a package from Scotland. To my surprise, it’s a gift for Audrey. We received it last night and well, look at the result of her kindness. Barbara sent her a beautiful Highland Cow! She didn’t know this, but my wife for years has been saying that she’d love for us to own a living one. Last night as she opened the package, my wife wept tears of joy and said, “all along the cow I wanted wasn’t for me or my own happiness, it was for Audrey’s.” Don’t know who will read this, but maybe if it’s you, I want to tell you that kindness really can make a difference and put a smile on someone’s face. Cheers

ជំរាបសួរ! Hello!
Hello Learning Labs family! A little late to the party, but glad to finally be onboard. 😂 This is Sam from Singapore 🇸🇬, have been based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia 🇰🇭 for the past 5 years pioneering our amazing local community, Matter. I have been part of the Mosaic journey online since 2017 and first step foot to Mosaic physically back in 2021 at Mosaic Conference. 🔥 Have since been able to connect with really great people at Mosaic like David Yanez himself, and also Juan & Kera from House. Blessed to finally be a part of Learning Labs, very excited on this journey of discovering more about the Bible with you all. 🙌

Sam my guy, you make this space even better! Can’t wait to connect on the zooms.
John part.1
I love this series. John being one of the more poetic and philosophical perspectives of the Gospel offers deep self-reflection and insight into the essence of Jesus. One of my favorite chapters in the scriptures is John Chapter 1 and I found that Pastor Kim brought a fresh and exciting take to it. Great conversations have come out of studying this with friends and now, I'm looking forward to part 2. I’m curious guys, what are your thoughts on this study so far?

@Emilio Nunez that’s awesome! One other aspect of the study that resonated with me is how Jesus was and continues to be controversial. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t realize how strange my faith sounds to someone who’s outside of the realm of faith. In many cases, even within the faith realm, I know the way I receive Jesus can seem out of the ordinary. Yet, it feels like this controversial person is home.. Jesus is the single most crucial part of my existence and he’s also the most controversial person within the human story. What a dichotomy. The way that Jesus informs our soul then should make us controversial. & I don’t mean in the way an immature person would use that as an excuse to be unhinged. I mean, the way I love, think, move— should create a ripple through reality. Making us as followers of Jesus standout. Not for the sake of standing out, but because we have been set apart. The greatest controversy to be known by man, knows me.
