@Tim Pedersen Welcome! That’s a fun range of movies! Action packed and over the top mechs and kaiju vs a dramatic cinematic masterpiece. I like the combo!

@Khodja Nadir Hi Nadir! It depends what you want to do with the mesh. You can just add materials and textures to your hi-res model and render if you like. Or you can remesh it or retopolgize if you intend to use it in a game. I've worked on several commercials for Lexus and BMW, where we just used triangulated CAD, so it's safe to say that heavy meshes are often used in high end productions.
3D Software Preferences
Other than Plasticity, what 3D software do you use or want to learn? I’m working on pairing Plasticity with lighting and rendering and I want to make sure I focus on what everyone prefers! 🦾

In terms of Houdini and Marvelous, I'm planning on creating a series of "Pro Workflows" which will cover Zbrush, Marvelous, Houdini and C4D. This will probably involve a character, with props, clothing, lighting and fx.

I attached the Blender file. Let me know if you have any questions! I'll be doing a quick tutorial about the scene next week. For now, feel free to experiment with the lights, colors and materials. When you're ready to render press "F12" or press the little circle on the far right of the viewport to Display Render Preview.

Yes! I hope you found it easy to use! I think if you can make this helmet, you can make so many things! In the beginning just have fun and experiment. Later on, have a simple plan, something achievable and give it a go!
Robot Character WIP
Creating this robot model solely in Plasticity and going to animate it in Blender. This is where I am at so far from last night in this build out. Have a long ways to go.
