Whether we like it or not, we all believe things that aren’t true. And this makes it really hard to make progress. For example, it’s impossible to make more money if your beliefs about how to make more money do not align with the way the world works. The reason for this is because your actions follow your beliefs. So if you believe you can grow your business through X, but X isn’t how you actually grow your business. Then no matter how hard you try you will be stuck. Some call these beliefs Crony Beliefs. And they explain why so many humans get stuck making little progress. Even though they keep taking action, their beliefs don’t change, so their actions remain the same, and their results stagnate. You see, the universe does not care about the way you think the world works, or the way you wish the world works. It just works the way it works. End of. Period. No arguments. And if you can’t align your beliefs with the way it actually works, then you won’t be able to operate within its boundaries to get results. CHAPTER 2: WHY YOUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL ISN’T GROWING QUICKLY When it comes to growing your YouTube channel, one of those beliefs is “to grow your YouTube channel you just need to be consistent”. If that were true, how would you explain the dozens of people in this community who have uploaded one video per week for years and still don’t have a sizeable audience? There’s nothing more frustrating than knowing the power of YouTube, but no matter how hard you try your videos don’t get the reach you think they deserve. I expand on this here and here

I also think the device is shitty in many ways... but.... also awesome. tl;dr - You can make a podcast without software or an editor and reduce your workflow to ALMOST real-time This is a great production method for podcasts and requires no editing because everything is edited in "real-time" using a device called the "Rodecaster Pro 2" (you'll find it on your country's amazon store). The Rodecaster Pro 2 can record everything you need to create a podcast onto the device itself, no need for editing software or anyone to help you. It ends up sounding a bit more like a radio show, or a twitch stream but my audience has been loving the results. I've had a "Top 10 in my niche" podcast in the past which used traditional methods but this is FAR easier. It used to take days to go from recording to upload, now it's immediate. You can use the Rodecaster to bring guests on using any call software you like, it's super easy! Honestly, this thing is a game-changer.

Hey all, just wanted to tell you about an experiment i'm trying here... First of all, I do have a youtube channel which currently Sythesizes the topic of facilitation and leads to a course on the same topic https://www.youtube.com/@AJSmart But a new thing i'm trying right now is posting bi-weekly on Substack and I've found it relatively easy to get to close to 1000 subscribers in little under 3 weeks with very little promotion (https://howtobusiness.substack.com/). Anyone else in here using Substack? I'd love to hear your experiences!
