Want a simple landing page that explains what your group is about and why people should join? Now you have one! See an example here. You can promote your group by adding videos, images, and a description. You can specify if your group is free or paid. (less confusion when non-customers request access thinking it's free). For private groups: Non-members will see this page when they visit any of your group's links. For public groups: Non-members will see this page on the "About" tab. Once somebody is a member of a group, they'll see this page under the "About" tab. If you're an admin of a group, go to the "About" tab to customize your landing page. No "next" lesson button or Back to all lessons on desktop?? The only way for a course member is to find "Classroom" in meny again. Dont feel so user friendly. Update coming? See screenshot
Hi I really like Skool and I am thinking about creating my own paid or free group. BUT one thing that I am concerned about is how easy it is for my customers to leave and end up here instead :) Instead of focusing on the course and upgrade to other courses. I mean if I pay $99/m do I get to select what will be shown in the navigation to my paying customers or free group members?
@Sid Sahasrabuddhe I mean when they explore my meny and find link here in top nav end up in school community:) Its not a bad thing but is a distraction?
What setup would you recommend if I want to have a free to join group talking about my topic and offer free courses. And also offer online courses and a Mastermind? Will the free members be able see that I also offer paid groups or having gated content i Classroom (similar to "opens for Level 3")? i.e they click on "Classroom" to access the free courses will they also see my locked ones (they pay for?). And how do I link to my Thrivecart/sales page for an easy next step for people that want to get/buy more stuff? Or do I have to pay for 3 groups a $99/m: - free community on topic + free courses - paid courses community - Mastermind community
Ok cool. But how do most people "invite new members to their coaching or Masterminds". Send a link to a different Skool group or to a sales page that gets them access after the purchase (via zapier)?
@Aljaž Plankl I have some free courses and lead magnets (would fit a free group) . I also have online courses ($30 - $300) and my main coaching program ($4500). My market is ecom store owners and dtc brands - teaching paid social + email marketing/ quiz funnels etc)
