Somatic Signature of Your Favorite Person

This one was kind of difficult at first because my consciousness hit pause on trying to choose a favorite person. The people I felt that about in my body are mostly no longer with me in one way or another they are absent from my life. So thinking of them brought up complicated emotions around their absence in my life. Especially, if they are still on this side of the grass but the relationship is no longer available. I turned this meditation off at least three times before I was able to suspend the part of my consciousness kept insisting on exploring the more difficult issues of losing them. I ended up getting through it by consciously directing myself to choose an uncomplicated favorite person, though they are long gone I feel them all the time...and your meditation helped me feel the presence of my Grandmother in my body in a whole new and beautiful way. 1 wins: Using my B3 meditative practice more consistently for this clarity and getting more in tune with my body. Being present with presence. Taking some intentional rest and instead of rushing into the “what’s next” and using the sacred pause to get clarity. Also being secure enough to know that in a provide support for others and continue to grow and heal myself simultaneously. Reaching out to find and connect with new sources for support and guidance with genuine openness and curiosity. 2. Challenges: Managing mounting anxiety and frustration that bigger pieces aren’t coming together yet - my strategic strength gets restless when it has no plan and starts to get that stuck feeling like a cat in the wet paper bag syndrome. Not so much about what I’m not doing, I’m in tune with what I need and moving intentionally forward and inside that space; but the fact that the bigger plans are not locking in yet. 3 Intentions: Being more patient with myself and trusting the process. Being okay with not being okay and knowing that I’ve got this. Making consistent contact with resources and moving forward in authenticity and body/life integrity with my professional growth while I continue my own healing journey. Creating more opportunity for inviting others on this journey with me. Every spiritual guru/prophet from antiquity since that shared their amazing gifts were not perfect, they did NOT have it all figured out. They were ALL seekers, who were living imperfect lives full of chaos, pain, suffering, and loss - and they were on their own healing journeys. This is what I intend to authentically model both personally and professionally. Our greatest light, our spirit give gifts come from the hard dark places. Light doesn’t exist without shadow. I want to offer a real authentic healing journey, where both myself and my clients are in integrity with our body, emotions, life. Where the whole of a person is not only welcome, but necessary to do the work. Dare I say F…k toxic positivity and what it has done to the personal growth industry.
