Welcome to Rooted in Healing
I’m so glad you’re here. This space was created to explore healing in a way that honors the whole human experience—mind, body, and our relationship to the world around us. My approach is an integrative one:neuroscience to understand, somatics, to embody, nature to reconnect and community to make meaning together. Healing isn’t linear, and it isn’t something we do alone. It happens through rhythm, relationship, reflection, and the courage to reimagine what’s possible. This community is where we’ll explore all of that—slowly, honestly, and in ways that feel supportive rather than overwhelming. To begin, I’d love to hear from you: What does healing mean for you right now, in this moment? There’s no right answer—just your own lived truth. Share your words, feelings, a story, or simply your curiosity. Your voice will help shape the conversations we build here. I’m looking forward to growing this space with you.

Healing for me is a journey and one that I do for myself, as well as for my loved ones. Every day and every moment looks different, but I choose to trudge forward and stop to rest along the way. I am in no way a marathon runner, but in this healing journey this is what I strive for
What are you practicing?
As we continue this journey together, I’d love to invite a moment of reflection. What are you practicing right now—and how is it serving you? Maybe it’s… a grounding ritual, breathwork, nature walks, somatic tracking, journaling, boundary setting, slowing down, reconnecting with joy, or simply remembering to pause! I am practicing Jo, centering and daily sit practice. We embody what we practice,

What a great question! I’ve found that journaling about anything and everything helps, and I start each entry with naming 3 specific things that I’m grateful for. Meditation and deep breathing helps to center myself. Going on walks whether it’s a hike or walking the dog. I enjoy watching the flight patterns of birds, or finding something to marvel at. These are all when I’m regulated, and when I’m not - going myself grace and that I can try again.
