@Benjamin Ewert Whoa. I didn't realize those were so time intensive.
Lessons from batching - what's your process?
My podcast episodes are short, 10-15 minutes, and come out twice a week, on YT and podcast platforms. I batch the episodes, and there's a lot involved, but it makes it so much easier. Here are a few things I do that might help you streamline your process: 1. Have a google doc with all of your episodes listed. Mine includes: date published, and a check box for every step: recording, editing, exporting, uploading, writing the description, creating the thumbnail, writing the title, creating the pretty link and adding the podcast player to my blog post, scheduling the episode. 2. Putting more effort into titles and descriptions pays off, especially for YT reach. Before I record, I think about my thumbnail image, write out a hook that comes before my podcast intro to grab the listener's attention, and decide on a title. 3. Split test thumbnails! 4. Batching can be tiring! I can do 4-5 episodes a day right now. I record everything one day, and the next day I do all the rest of the processing. What process works for you with getting your episodes out regularly?

I put out two videos a week, and I started that Oct 2. It's my podcast, which also gets distributed to podcast channels. Right now, I'm working on improving my hooks and titles to get more viewers. Also, I'm focusing on staying focused! Because there are so many other things I could do, but it gets overwhelming if I were to try to add too many things at once.
How Rebecca got 200k views in less than 3 months (from zero)
I need to tell you about @Rebecca Bogart's amazing success on YouTube!! She'd been uploading on YouTube for over a year, getting ~100 views per video... but in the last 2 and a half months she managed to grow over 6,000 subscribers, and generate 200,000 long-form views! No shorts! Just look at the screenshots below!!! These views didn't just grow her subscriber count, it grew her email list, and got her new sales into her skool community :D 🚨🚨🚨 Last week I asked her what she thinks made the biggest difference to finally blowing up... she said it was the titles and thumbnails! Because after joining https://www.skool.com/ben she started using the thumbnail templates (screenshots below) And she started using the fill-in-the-blank titles I provide in there every single week... 🚨🚨🚨 With a lot of hard work from her side (hats off!!), these amazing results were possible! The full interview recording is coming soon... If you also finally want to take YouTube seriously to blow up your business, join us right now 👉🏼 https://www.skool.com/ben

Congrats!! I've just started being consistent in the past two weeks, and I already see the need to focus on titles and thumbnails.

@Isabella Francis I've got one. I launched my podcast on there Oct 2. I also had videos already up for my blog (but they were never ideal for being found on YT).
Thumbnails! - Let's hear your process?
Hey Guys & Girls! Let's talk about one of the key parts of making a YT video - the thumbnail! As you all know, you could make a great video; however, if people don't like the "packaging", then people won't be able to find out how great a video you made! So lets hear the process you all do to make a great thumbnail! I will start - Research in my niche what's the overarching style is and what is "working" this is typically what is getting views for the most part. I do have a thumbnail idea's board that I have and add to frequently for inspiration: https://www.figma.com/board/W8YcdI1hX0cr5Jix9po3HS/Thumbnail-Idea-s?node-id=0-1&t=mIYEeAafSkb87hHi-1 You will tend to notice over time that certain themes or designs work in a lot of different niches too! Upon having done research on this, I try to line up this TN image to the start of the video as best as possible too so the viewers expectations are aligned as quickly as possible, minimising intro drop off. some great examples of this are these two videos - both videos show that the TN wasn't clickbait within the first 5 seconds: EXAMPLE 1: https://youtu.be/BYVZh5kqaFg?si=sm94qV51-NT-52MC EXAMPLE 2: https://youtu.be/yp8jMl7bjgo?si=8umsVQAfgRyVHTFE From here I will design the thumbnail with a bit of a 3D effect in mind with a few layers allowing for drop shadows if needed. focusing on adjusting the colours a smidge to pop things out and blur the (sometimes unneeded) background. Focus if possible on an emotion on the TN or a pain point if a face is present there. Money savers work really well too if you can angle it well :) Best tip I can give is also "KISS" - Keep it simples! LESS IS MORE! If you read this far I hope this helps and if you need any feedback on your current thumbnails, give me a shout! I will drop you a loom feedback each :)
